The world is a pretty scary place sometimes. Mostly it’s OK, and there are lots of moments that make life feel amazing, like seeing a rainbow, or when your cat comes to you for once for snuggles. But there are times when things do take a bit of a spooky turn, like when you feel your own hair on your face at night and think it’s a crazy huge spider.
1. These cables look like they’re monsters from some weird ’90s sci-fi movie like Dune or something.
Or even some kind of huge gross slug with a weird beak who only speaks in riddles. For real though, there had to be a better way to do this.

2. I’m not really sure what it is they were going for here, but my guess is that they’ve totally missed the mark.
I do have to say that I’m pretty impressed at how realistic this tape man looks…almost too real.

Honestly, if I were to stay at a house where these were the taps, I would leave immediately because it is 11/10 haunted.

6. This car was found really deep into a spillway, and it was probably hidden because it was stolen.
Even though it’s just a car, if I had been the one to find this I would be really freaked out.

I love to read and still have all my Beanie Babies, but I would never put them all over the hood of my car because that’s just weird.
8. I know that these are likely an art installation and I think they’re really neat, but there’s a haunted Alice in Wonderland vibe going on here.
Not gonna lie though, I would be down to own one or two of these.
9. Tumbleweeds are def a thing that happen, but they still remind me of spooky old westerns.
It’s weird how something so simple and natural could be so unnerving, ya know?

I like the snow a lot, but the thought of being stuck somewhere for the foreseeable future freaks me out. What if there was an emergency?
11. There are a variety of reasons why having roommates is awful, but the pranks they play would be well among the worst of them.
If someone did this to me, I would probably have died of a heart attack.
12. Is it just me, or does this tree branch look a lot like a creepy skeleton hand?
Storm drains are scary already. I’ve been weary of them ever since It , and this isn’t helping.
13. I think this deer is so beautiful, it looks like something from a fairy tale.
I can imagine, though, that if I had just come across this on a hike, it would be eerie.
14. This is, without a doubt, one of the scariest and most unnerving costumes that I’ve ever seen.
I just don’t see why this seemed like a good idea. Like, why?!
15. I know that having taxidermy animals is pretty trendy now and has been for a while, but this seems extreme.
This is exactly what I would image a set would look like on True Detective or something.

Also, where is this woman taking this stuffed sheep with roller blades? It’s very specific.
17. If I saw this sign on the outside of a trail I was about to walk down, I would immediately turn around and run away.
I’ve seen enough ghost stories to know that this is not good.
18. I’m pretty sure that Christmas is supposed to be a happy, fun time for everyone.
But, between this Santa and creepy Easter Bunny, there isn’t anything jolly about this scene.

I would have been really upset! Kids have very active imaginations. Plus, who wants to give up snacks?

21. I’ve always found the weather to be such a scary thing, it’s bigger and more powerful than all of us.
These clouds would make me nervous, but I would also have been happy to see them.
22. This looks like the kind of woods you have to walk through to get to a cabin that is freakishly haunted.
This tree probably holds all the secrets you need to defeat the monsters waiting at the cabin.
23. I have always felt weird about deep water. I know that a lot of people do, but it’s stuff like this that really gets me.
Looks like some kind of final level of a video game or pirate movie.
24. Well, this is my worst nightmare come true.
Do you see that monstrous snake behind him, just waiting around like it’s no big deal? I have to say, though, if you’re going to get into water like that, you really are playing God.
