Renovating your living space is sure a huge undertaking. I always applaud people who choose to take on such a project .
But if you do it right, chances are you are going to fall in love with your home all over again. These folks took a chance and leveled up their renovation ideas, and guess what? They turned out quite alright.
1. This Outdated Kitchen
I suppose this kitchen looked a little outdated to its new owners. I like the fact that it was so bright, and I’m a huge fan of marble. So those are the aspects I would have missed.
This Updated Concept
So what do you think about what the homeowners did here? Do you enjoy the overall aesthetic they created in this space now? I do feel like it does look more modern and polished. So that’s my favorite aspect of this reno.
2. This Studio Apartment
Well, what can you possibly do with a tiny studio apartment like this in NYC? As it turns out, quite a lot, so wait until you see how this person fixed it up. You’ll hardly believe your eyes.
This Outstanding Remake
What did I tell you, huh? That’s some change, no? I would never have guessed that this was the same space here. I love what they have done with the place. I could imagine myself living here, hee-hee.
3. This Sterile Environment
I can’t say that I like the space here. It feels quite sterile to me. Honestly, it reminds me of a hospital room, and that isn’t a good thing. Oh no! It definitely needs some love, and that’s an understatement for sure.
This Cozy Upgrade
Here’s what I’m talking about, eh? That’s much cozier. Am I right? Now the place looks like somebody actually lives here. What do you think? Do you agree with me? I love how everything has the same theme.
4. This Sad Patio
Speaking of sterile, look at this patio here. You can’t exactly call it cozy, can you now? This place definitely needs some much-needed TLC, and I bet if you asked the cat, he would agree with me.
This Lovely Scene
Okay, now we’re talking, ladies and gentlemen. Am I right, or am I right? This is the kind of place I would love to chill after a long day. Give me a drink or two, and I would be a happy woman, hee-hee.
5. This Plain Bedroom
There isn’t much that I can say about this bedroom space here. It’s pretty boring and uninspiring if you asked me. Something is definitely missing, and I hope the person who owns it realized that and addressed it.
This Groovy Space
I’m happy to see that the person who lives here had the same feeling about this bedroom as me. Now, they created quite a vibe. I love how they incorporated all these funky lights to make this space stand out.
6. This Dining Room
Whoa! Isn’t this quite the wallpaper, huh? This whole place gives me that total ’90s vibe, and I don’t know if I’m really digging it or not. I guess the owner of this place decided to change it up.
This Total Overhaul
Oh, wow, talking about changing the whole era here, huh? I definitely prefer the white walls instead of that odd-looking wallpaper, ha, ha! What do you think of this place now? Do you prefer the before or the after picture?
7. This Old-Looking Bathroom
I’ve always said that one of the places I love in a home is the bathroom. This one here isn’t doing me any favors, though. It looks so old and dated, and it’s making me quite depressed.
This Modern Take
Here’s exactly what I had in mind. This modern-looking bathroom is a pleasure to look at, huh? I love how they divided the two sink areas and made them into his and hers areas. What a genius idea, right?
8. This Dull Stairway
Speaking of drab-looking things, that’s how I feel when I look at these awful stairs. They definitely don’t make me want to go upstairs. The whole place is giving me the heebie-jeebies. It’s like a horror scene from a bad B-movie.
This Pretty Space
Now, this is more like it. I don’t feel scared climbing up these stairs. They don’t evoke scenes from The Shining anymore, and I consider that a good thing. I hope you feel the same way.
9. This Cold Space
Honestly, there isn’t anything exciting about this space here. It looks quite unfinished to me. Do you agree with what I’m saying? Something is definitely missing, and I think it’s that feeling of coziness. It feels cold and uninviting.
This Inviting Space
Here’s exactly what I would do to this room to bring some warmth into it. It looks a lot more bright and cozy, that’s for sure. Something tells me the whole family loves to spend their time here now. I know I would, too, ha, ha.

They definitely gave me a lot to think about, and that’s a fact. I hope one day I can incorporate some of these amazing ideas into creating a few cozy spaces in our home. What concept do you like the most?
