Singer Halsey is known for being open and honest with her fans, however, some felt the 26-year-old crossed the line when sharing a throwback photo of herself struggling with an eating disorder.
Now, the singer is speaking out to fans.

The popular trend lets fans request pics from certain moments in a celebrity or influencers life.
It’s A LOT of fun to scroll through, tbh.
It makes sense that Halsey would also take part in the viral challenge, considering she has 22.5 MILLION IG followers.
However, Halsey upset fans when she posted a throwback photo of herself standing in front of a mirror topless looking very thin when asked to post a photo of herself at her lowest point.
“TW: ED, ask for help,” she captioned the Insta story post.
Halsey later apologized to fans who said they had been triggered by the picture.
“I was very nervous to post it and didn’t think properly. I had positive intentions. I would never want to harm someone who shares my struggle,” she tweeted .
She then made it clear she needed to distance herself from the harmful social media rhetoric.
“with that being said im gonna log off now because this has turned into something I am not emotionally equipped to handle for the time being,” she concluded .
