When I was younger, I always said that I wanted to live in a Hobbit house and own a sheep farm. Why those two together? Who actually knows.
But this dream has the possibility to turn into a reality thanks to these hilly and grassy eco-friendly mini homes from Green Magic Homes *.
*Sheep not included. Not YET.
If you’ve ever wanted to know what living like a Hobbit or Teletubby might be like, you finally have the chance.

The hilly dome houses are covered in natural soil and greenery, like grass and flowers, and they look like they just popped up out of the ground.
The company Green Magic Homes developed the Hobbit-hole-inspired homes with Mother Earth in mind.

These homes greatly reduce your carbon footprint as the nature-covered roof heats and cools the home naturally.
They are also waterproof, won’t erode, and the modular framing means that less materials and resources for labor are used.
The interior seriously gives Frodo’s Hobbit-hole a run for its money (sorry, Frodo).

Given the petite size of these homes, they are surprisingly quite spacious inside.
You can purchase a home for one or four, and they even have a model with two floors and a pool.
If a grass-covered home doesn’t interest you, they also have gazebos and car shelters, which still make a difference.

Construction costs do vary depending on the country, cost of labor, and cost to transport materials.
Now I just need to find the perfect spot to dream about owning my very own Hobbit-hole!
