The circumstances surrounding Jeffery Epstein, 66, may seem like suicide to many but a renowned chief legal officer begged to differ as he believed his death to be murder.
Epstein was a convicted pedophile facing sex trafficking charges with powerful hands in the worlds of politics, business, security services, and royalty. With the release of his files by the Office of Public Affairs, it reignited a once-forgotten fire that was Epstein’s case and his associates.
The circumstances surrounding Epstein’s death
Epstein was found dead in his cell six years ago, with a noose made from an orange bedsheet.
Logically, you’d think it’s suicide but ever since his death, conspiracy theorists took this moment to shine with their takes on the situation.
A lawyer who was head-deep in the case weighs in
Chief legal officer Spencer Kuvin who works at Goldlaw Law Firm in West Palm Beach exclusively told the DailyMail about his belief that Epstein’s death was murder and not suicide.
“I can’t tell you he definitely didn’t commit suicide, but it looks suspicious,” he told the outlet.
Why he believes it’s not suicide
Kuvin believes that through his knowledge of Epstein and the hours that led to his death, his death wasn’t a suicide.
“He believed he was going to get out of jail because what he did [in his mind] was perfectly legal, perfectly fine. He said to me point blank: ‘I paid [the girls], they accepted, I didn’t drug them. So, it’s legal.'”
He also thinks that the timing is suspicious
“So why would he kill himself if he didn’t feel he’d done anything wrong, especially before he’s convicted. The timing is suspicious. If he had been convicted and knows he’s going away… but before he had a trial, before he even defended himself, before he gets a chance to speak?” The lawyer elaborated.
The highest security prison “failed”
“[And] right after they pull [out] his cellmate, two cameras fail, two guards fall asleep. In the highest security prison, nearly, in the United States, where we’ve held international terrorists. Or he was killed?” Kuvin continued.
What also supports the fact that it might be a murder is that his death was convenient for many prominent figures globally.
He was assessed by psychologists
According to records released by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, he was evaluated by psychologists during different times.
The psychologists later concluded that Epstein was “not suicidal” and he proved to be “future orientated.” In addition, he told the psychologists that suicide was against his Jewish faith, so, he wasn’t planning on it.
