Let’s be real — Starbucks is not a “budget” option for anyone unless you’re a millionaire. Of course, I do make an effort to work it into my weekly routine because it makes me happy. However, if I could find a more cost-effective way to do things, I would be open to that!
Now, a woman on TikTok is claiming to have found the perfect Starbucks “dupe” for our favorite sweet treats!

Of course, we all know Starbucks is known for their coffee.
Would some people refer to their coffee as “mediocre” and “bad”? Maybe. Do I care? Nope!
I love my Starbucks coffee and I don’t care who knows it!
However, we also know that their sweet treats are half of the appeal of going to the notorious coffee shop.
They have so many different types of snacks — loaves, scones, cookies, marshmallow bars, sandwhiches, and meal boxes. However, I think it’s safe to say their most popular option are those delightful loaves they carry!
At nearly $4 a slice, they’re essentially the same price as a coffee, but they’re so tasty it’s worth it!
However, what if I told you that you could find those loaves for a fraction of the cost at Walmart?
Well, that’s what one alleged former Starbucks employee is saying on TikTok!
In a video with nearly 60,000 likes, user @jjemama showed off the loaves at the bakery section of her local Walmart.
“I worked at Starbucks for four years and I can attest that this is the same bread sold at Starbucks and it’s only a dollar at Walmart,” she says in the video.
The former Starbucks employee goes on to clarify her find in the comments section: “Obviously this is MY OPINION on a DUPE and I stand by it. Also if you don’t like it that’s okay! You can go to Starbucks and get the $4 deal.”
Of course, this is just a dupe and not the exact same brand as the Starbucks loaves, but if it tastes the same and is way cheaper, what’s the harm?!
