Even if you don’t consider yourself a gardener, these flower pots might be right up your alley. That’s because while they look like regular ole’ flower pots, in actuality, they are DIY wine kegs that dispense your favorite vintage.
The Food Network came up with this awesome DIY and we need to add some to our gardens ASAP!
While these look like normal flower pots from afar, they actually dispense wine

This combines two of my favorite loves: wine and flowers. If you need to kick your wedding decor up a notch this year, I think we just found your answer.
The Food Network is behind these genius DIY flower pot wine kegs. You can even color-coordinate the flowers to match your wine! Red for merlot, white for chardonney, and pink for rosé. Love it!
All you have to do is buy the pot and a spout

It’s rather easy, actually. All you need is a flower pot big enough to hold your favorite wine, cut a circular hole in the bottom to fit the width of your spout (you will have measured it of course), sand it, cover the open plastic with twine using a hot glue gun, and then you’re essentially done with the functional part.
Next you can decorate the pot itself with some ribbon, The Food Network used red ribbon which we think perfectly matched the red wine, then just cover the top with a styrofoam disk that holds some fake flowers, et voilà!

This is truly a great project and one that would make a great gift, too. I know what I’m doing this weekend!
In conclusion, flower pot wine kegs are real and they are magical. I’ll cheers to that! I never thought I would see the day, but I guess dreams really do come true.
