Florence Pugh is hitting hard on the pedals of fashion as the year runs out. In her usual daring and dramatic style, the Black Widow actress pulled up on the glorious red carpet of The British Fashion Awards, looking incredibly dashing in a red Valentino dress. She did it in a grand style and wore it in the exact shade of the carpet, and she still managed to stand out, as always.
Keep reading for the details.
Red On The Red Carpet
Pugh’s custom look for the big fashion night was based on a backless gown that debuted on the runway at Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Spring 2023 show. The glamorous dress features a deep plunging back, pockets, a dramatic long train, and fragile spaghetti straps that barely cupped the actress’s luscious sideboob.
Pugh channeled major Goth vibes as she paired this look with the darkest berry red lipstick ever and wore her hair in a slick back style that showed off her face. She understood the mathematics of this look and opted for moderate jewelry like her nose ring, a ring on her finger, and small stud earrings.
Rocking Another Valentino Number For The After Party
For the after-party later in the evening, Pugh slipped into another golden Valentino dress; for this one, the glitz stood out in the crowd. The low-cut dress was covered in sequins, including a sheer hemline with starry details.
She paired the look with more accessories, this time with a diamond serpent necklace, matching drop earrings with gold sandal heels, and a matching gold purse that sparkled through the night. A Valentino muse through and through!
Pugh And Piccioli Walked The Carpet Together
Piccioli and Pugh walked the red carpet for the event as she presented him with the Designer of the Year Award later in the night inside the venue.
Truly, the relationship between a designer and his chosen star is something we can’t explain, and we’re glad Pugh has found the perfect match in Valentino.
Killing It Back To Back

The actress also spotted a Rodarte blush pink satin silk dress at the British Independent Film Awards and shared snapshots from the event on Instagram. She was styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, who spilled that the dress had been on their minds the first time they laid eyes on it.
