Media influencer Sophie Guidolin is going through a tough period in her life after losing her newborn daughter. The fitness pro took to her Instagram page where she shared a life update and an emotional insight into what she has been through.
Guidolin Mourned The Loss Of A Child
The star took to her feed on Wednesday, January 25, that she has welcomed her fifth child, Pixie. However, it was on a sad note because it was still birth. The personal trainer started off by issuing a trigger-warning notification before acknowledging that she had a lot of moms on her page.

Guidolin shared her heartrending news noting that she couldn’t even begin to “articulate my pain, grief, and despair.” She described the day she gave birth as one she would never forget as it changed her forever.
She Gave Birth Via C-section
The lifestyle influencer made it known that she gave birth to a “beautiful baby girl” named Pixie through C-section, but she was stillborn. Guidolin relayed that she was “trying to trust God’s timing” as she always believed the universe had her back, no matter how confusing things got.
Guidolin Penned Her Pain
The media star who is a mom to four kids relayed how she was holding on to her faith while also feeling guilty for her previous thoughts. Guidolin wrote, “‘I feel so guilty for my thoughts prior and I would do anything to have that pain, over this harrowing experience. I don’t even have the words on how to write or how to comprehend this.”
She went on to thank her doctor for being the biggest support as she went through the life-changing experience. She also noted her gratitude to the maternity team in charge of her health before thanking friends and family. Guidolin concluded her post on ante of resignation stating that “Maybe some souls were always meant to be angels.”
She Had A Difficult Pregnancy
Leading up to the time of labor, Guidolin documented how difficult her pregnancy was and how her symptoms had raged. She was affected by hyperemesis gravid arum. This means she dealt with severe vomiting and nausea that went on for days. When hyperemesis occurs, it can lead to vitamin deficiencies, dehydration, and weight loss. She stated on social media at the time that the pregnancy nearly got the better of her.
She Was Quite Open With Her Severe Symptoms
The fitness model did not shy away from giving updates on how she was faring amid her troubling pregnancy to fans. She shared a few moments where her normal days quickly turned turning after bouts of symptoms. In one of her posts, Guidolin has been at the beach enjoying a regular day with her daughter, but her next photo was of her throwing up and clinging to a vomit bag.
In another update, Guidolin was at the hospital where she was put on a drip. She informed fans that her family and friends were having fun on a boat but she couldn’t because of what she was dealing with. The businesswoman lamented that she wanted her life back.
When Guidolin Announced Her Pregnancy
Last year in December an elated Guidolin took to Instagram hinting at her pregnancy. She displayed a snapshot of a pregnancy test kit with two faint red lines. She captioned, “Helloooo subscribers, can you see a double line on here? Is this a honeymoon bebe?” Guidolin’s honeymoon reference was due to her marriage to her Gold Coast doctor partner, Andrew Firgaira.
She And Firgaira Had A Private Ceremony
The lovebirds became man and wife in November 2022 after organizing an intimate wedding ceremony at Byron Bay. She looked gorgeous in a Marquise Bridal gown while enjoying her bid day. Weeks after her wedding, Guidolin relived the event of the special day making it known that the day went so fast. She described it as “pure magic,” while sharing the intricate details that went into making it a special occasion.

Guidolin was previously in a relationship with Married at First Sight star Jake Edwards, but they called it off in May 2021. Although there’s no definite information on when she started dating Andrew Firgaira, he first appeared on her Instagram page in January 2022. Their romance progressed and by June, Guidolin and Firgaira announce their engagement. They had been holidaying in Greece when he popped the question.
