Super momager Kris Jenner has carefully orchestrated the growth and businesses of her children over the past few decades. More recently, the 67-year-old has been more involved with daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner as the two ventured into different businesses both separately and as a duo. While some have worked out incredibly well for both Kendall and Kylie others have not been so popular amongst fans.
Kendall + Kylie at Discount Stores
The Kendall + Kylie brand was launched in 2012, the duo paired up with the retailer PacSun to sell their product. While the line was a huge hit at first, over the years, the hype has died down and so has the quality of the line. A recent picture shared by a user on Reddit shows a cross-body bag from the Kendall+ Kylie range for sale at the discount store ‘Five Below’. Users also shared stories of their products found at TJ Maxx at a heavily discounted price.
Fans React

Needless to say, the Kendall+Kylie brand being sold at discount stores did not sit well with fans. Here are some of the best reactions to the same.
One fan said , “This isn’t even Kendall and Kylie anymore… Kris will shill anything, even a past version of her kids at a dollarish store. This makes Kylie Cosmetics and Kendall ‘s couture venture look cheaper. Sad.”
Another fan added, “That’s not even kylies face 5yrs ago.”
“This looks so cheap and tacky, i thought they’d matured past this smh – Kris is going to make AND break their careers”- commented another fan.
Kendall Jenner’s Business Ventures
In February 2021, like a lot of celebrities have done over the past few years, Kendall Jenner announced her entry into the business of liquor. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said that it was an idea 3.5 years in the works and she was finally ready to release it to the world. Each bottle sells for $59.99, and in December 2021 it was reported that the brand sold 136,000 cases in its first seven months of business which is around 1.5 million bottles. Needless to say, those figures would have shot up significantly from year one.
Kylie Jenner’s Business Ventures
Kylie Jenner started her business journey back in 2015 when she began selling lip kits. Since then the brand was renamed ‘Kylie Cosmetics’ and has ventured into every single realm of the makeup industry. In November 2019, Coty Inc. bought a 51% controlling stake in the company for $600 million.
