Through the the ups and downs, Brit has always proven what a boss B she really is, and we love her for it.
Anyway, not long ago, Britney Spears posted a video that accused paparazzi of photoshopping her photos to make look bigger.
“It’s a conspiracy theory that I’m actually interested in,” the singer says.
Cue the X-Files music.
The pop star began by saying that celebrities are often accused of photoshopping their photos and videos.
“And say that the pictures and videos that they’re posting are either not on time or they’re fake.”
And Brit was not about to be accused of photoshopping her own photos.
Even though quite literally every single celebrity does do exactly that. It’s nothing to be ashamed of when done well, tbh.
While cameras do tend to add 10 pounds, Britney is adamant that the papz are out to get her.
“I look like I’m 40 pounds heavier than I am today,” she said of the images they took of her swimming.
She also called herself “skinny as a needle.”
Modesty at its finest. A whole mood.
“Is the news really real?” she pondered.

The photos she was talking about were ones taken by a photo agency called Mega.
They grabbed shots of Britney walking along a Miami beach with her boyfriend.
They weren’t too happy being accused and even released a statement to Page Six.
They called the allegations ” ludicrous ” and said that they had shot thousands of photos.
They even offered to let Britney see their original files.
They were adamant on proving their innocence.
Their statement ended with them wishing the star well and saying that they were glad to see her happy and having fun.

Okay proceed.
Back to the vid. Britney had ended it by saying, “you tell me what is real.”

Yesterday, she posted a picture to Instagram that’s getting fans fired up.
Here’s the pic in question.
At first glance, it’s just a normal mirror selfie, right?
She may be totally channeling her “…Baby One More Time” days with that plaid skirt and tied-up white tank.
But that’s not what fans are focused on …
Instead, they were focused on the very obvious photoshop fail.

When will celebs ever learn?
As you can guess, people were *not* happy.
They saw it as a hypocritical move since she was literally just accusing the papz of photoshopping her images.
The shade just kept on coming.
They had no problem calling the singer out.
Some people did take things too far by questioning her mental health.
It’s been hard for the star to live that infamous umbrella moment down.
She’s yet to delete the image or offer any sort of explanation.
Perhaps she will brush it under the rug like other caught celebs have done before?
Or she could be hiding under the covers, rn, because, yes, this is hella embarrassing.
At least we’re sure Mega is popping the champagne right now in celebration of their sweet redemption.
I mean hey, maybe Britney is getting really meta on us and trying to prove some sort of point to the paparazzi?
