If you have been fortunate enough to not come across this absolutely horrifying face known as Momo yet, that ends now.
I am a fully grown adult, and when I close my eyes at night, this creepy looking bird-woman is the only thing I can see.

I basically haven’t slept in a week. Thanks a lot, internet.
Over the last week, something called “The Momo Challenge” has been circulating.
It’s super disturbing. But we’re not even 100% sure that it’s even real.
Some are saying that it was just created and spread by someone that wanted to go viral and cause widespread panic.
But before we discovered that it’s probably a hoax, it was definitely something to panic over.
It was supposedly children’s videos on YouTube being interrupted by Momo’s face, saying that she is going to kill them in their sleep, and instructing children to harm themselves.
Understandably, people, especially parents, were completely disgusted.
Anyways, one thing led to another, and we eventually realized that it was probably just a rumor.
People have created their own versions of this so-called video to try and scare people. But ultimately, it’s nothing to panic over.
“Momo” is actually a Japanese sculpture.
The artist, Keisuke Aiso, exhibited it at a 2016 art show in Tokyo. But since the piece has become a subject of deliberate degradation, the artist has destroyed it .
It wasn’t long before the internet did what it does best, and turned the whole thing into a joke.
They took something petrifying and replaced it with something beautiful.

It started out like this — still very creepy.
The body is definitely a lot more pleasant to look at. But overall, still something nightmares are made of.
Yeah, definitely still very unsettling.
It’s an improvement. But it’s still not something I want to look at for any longer than I have to.
Moving on!
But then people dropped Momo’s face altogether, thanks to this person.
And just like that, without any effort required, Jason Momoa is going viral.
I support this.
The more times I get to see Jason’s face instead of Momo’s face, the better.
Suddenly, I don’t even remember what Momo even looks like.
Yes, Jason is just that enchanting.
If there’s any face I want popping up in the middle of YouTube videos, it’s his.
He doesn’t even have to say anything, we can just have a staring contest.
I am really enjoying the fact that I live in a world where Jason Momoa is trending for no reason at all.
Seriously. No complaints over here, none at all.
People really seem to be on board with this new challenge.
And how can they not be? He is considerably way nicer to look at, amirite?

I am sure a lot of people feel that way.
It would definitely be nice to wake up every morning, look in the mirror, and see that face.
