Being a parent is already so much work. While I’m only a mom to a few fur babies, the amount of energy they zap out of me is unbelievable, therefore moms everywhere get alllll of my empathy.
One of my favorite celebrity moms, Jennifer Garner, is getting candid about parenting during a pandemic, and fans are loving her honesty!
As fans of JGard know (I’m trying to make JGard a thing, okay?) the actress recently starred in the new Netflix movie *Yes Day.*

The film revolves around her own annual tradition with her three children; Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Sam, 9. Their “yes day” means the kids can to do whatever they want for one whole day — within reason ,
Now, in a new interview with People* Jennifer is opening up about her parenting style.

“I wouldn’t mind ice cream for breakfast, if you really think about it,” she admitted, when asked about her perfect “yes day.”
“I would probably go to this little café, Huckleberry, and have the green eggs and ham there, which is this prosciutto and pesto and homemade English muffin. Great cappuccino, a few close girlfriends.”
She continued:
“There’d be a fun group workout. Probably a walk. Enjoy a beautiful sky. With lots of talking and then probably mix in some kid time. We all just need an adventure.”
When asked how she’s handled the pandemic, the 48-year-old admitted that like every other parent,t she struggled.
“I don’t know that I’ve stayed positive the whole time,” she admitted.
“I think I’ve had a couple of temper tantrums. And I hope [my kids] have too. I think you have to. It’s like, have your feelings. But there’s so much to be grateful for.”
Jennifer revealed helping others has given her family something to pour their energy into.
“You take a deep breath and start brainstorming about what can we do to help. Like my daughter, she likes helping people on GoFundMe, so for Christmas, she asked for a little GoFundMe money. She said it just gives her a lift.”
I love how candid and honest Jennifer is!
