Vivian Jenna Wilson is one of Elon Musk’s children from his first marriage to Justine Wislon. But since the two reportedly fell out, Vivian has distanced herself from Musk.
She has also revealed the truth behind how much money she gets from her father, who is currently the richest man in the world.
Vivian changed her name in 2022

The 21-year-old – who is transgender – distanced herself from her father, Elon Musk, as of recently.
In 2022, Vivian filed a petition to change her name stating that she didn’t want to be “related to [her] biological father in any way, shape or form,” and hence now goes by her mother’s last name.
She still considers herself a ‘nepo’

Vivian explained that while she’s cut ties with her father, she still considers herself a ‘nepo’.
This is a term used to refer to people who may benefit from nepotism, which is when a person receives more advantages or privileges due to having famous relatives.
But she clarified that she doesn’t have a trust fund
Vivian clarified that while she still views herself as privileged for the family she was born into, she doesn’t have inheritance or a trust fund.
On Threads, she wrote, “Just to set the record straight, I do not have some inheritance or trust fund or whatever nor do I want one.”
Vivian especially pointed out the rumors going around

She said that if she had the large amount of money people say she did, she’d spend it on helping others.
“Obviously. Idk why people think this. I saw someone on tiktok say I have 40 BILLION dollars Like… no. Lol. If I did then homelessness? Gone. World hunger? Idk her,” Vivian wrote.
She cleared the misinformation
“Not saying this to be like ‘woe is me’, obviously. It’s just a bit of misinfo that I see go around from time to time that annoys me. I’d still absolutely consider myself a nepo and I’m not trying to pull some Kylie Jenner ‘self-made’ card,” she added.
Musk had previously claimed she was ‘dead’
This comes after Musk previously said that Vivian had been “killed by the woke mind virus” in response to a headline about her that read: “Elon Musk’s daughter says father’s rally gesture was ‘definitely a Nazi salute’.”
She had responded to this comment by him
Vivian previously told Teen Vogue that she’ll “see things about [Musk] on the news” and think they’re “f***ing cringe.”
After Musk deadnamed her under a post about her denouncing his rally salute and said she was “killed by the woke mind virus,” Vivian posted a TikTok of herself next to his tweet and a song with the lyrics, “I look pretty good for a dead b***h.”
