Ellen DeGeneres, 66, and her wife Portia de Rossi, 51, have moved their life from the US to the UK. Both DeGeneres and Rossi are enjoying their new life in the rural parts of the UK, and have been spotted in a pub — with DeGeneres sporting a shocking new look, making her unrecognizable at first glance.

Both women were spotted in The Farmer’s Dog, a pub owned by former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson, 64, enjoying the tunes played by The Corrs, an Irish band. They were also in the company of singers James Blunt, 50, and Natalie Imbruglia, 49.

DeGeneres’s new look
Some say that with hair changes comes major life changes, and maybe inspired by the huge move from the US to the UK, Ellen has opted to change her hair color as well. Both DeGeneres and Rossi were wearing matching black tops, enjoying their time while DeGeneres was drinking a glass of water.
When was DeGeneres seen?
The pub’s Instagram video was posted on November 14, but DeGeneres was spotted on Thursday by Page Six. Allegedly, her stay in the UK is permanent and both DeGeneres and Rossi have no plans for returning to their homeland anytime soon.
Buying and selling mansions
A source told People that DeGeneres was in the UK a month ago looking for mansions before buying one in the Cotswolds about a month ago. The Cotswolds is a rural portion of Southwest England that is about 100 miles from London. In addition, it is anticipated that she may be planning to put her Montecito mansion on the market.

The Cotswolds is famous for celebrities who are looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of London. This makes sense for DeGeneres and Rossi who were clearly looking to escape the hustle and bustle of LA for some peace and quiet in Santa Barbara County’s Montecito, about 75 miles from LA.
Lots of Neighbors
DeGeneres and Rossi have many new, famous neighbors, including David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Patrick Stewart, Elizabeth Hurley, Jeremy Clarkson, Damien Hirst, and many others. Kate Winslet also had a mansion there, but it is not currently known whether she still resides in the area.
DeGeneres’s career
DeGeneres’s career took a turn for the worse as she was accused of fostering a toxic workplace on the set of her daytime talk show. The show aired its last episode on May 26, 2022. She later had her own stand-up special For Your Approval.
