Earlier this month, when Dr. Anthony Fauci was asked which actor he would like to play him in a Saturday Night Live skit, he said Brad Pitt , and his wish has officially been granted!
It’s no secret that Brad Pitt is the male heartthrob of our time.
I’m sure most men, nay, people would not be opposed to being played by him in any movie, TV show, or even just a short skit.

Earlier this month, Dr. Anthony Fauci was asked by CNN’s *New Day* host Alisyn Camerota, if he would prefer to be played by Ben Stiller or Brad Pitt in an *SNL* skit.
“Here are some suggestions that I’ve heard. Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt. Which one?,” she said .
“Oh, Brad Pitt, of course,” Fauci quickly replied.
And on Saturday, his wish was granted by the network, and it’s so much better than I could have ever imagined.
In an unexpected appearance, Brad Pitt appeared on *Saturday Night Live* home edition, dressed up as Dr. Anthony Fauci.
“First, I’d like to thank all the older women in America who have sent me supportive, inspiring and sometimes graphic e-mails,” Brad said as Fauci .
The skit went on with Brad (as Fauci) explaining some of the misinformation that has been spread about coronavirus.
“Yes, the President has taken some liberties with our guidelines,” he said .
He then explained what he believes the president is *trying* to say.
“And remember, let’s all keep an open mind,” he added .
This has already become one of my favorite SNL skits, ever.
The sketch then segues to real-life footage of President Trump telling the American people that there would be a vaccine “relatively soon.”
“Relatively soon is an interesting phrase,” Brad says .
“Relative to the entire history of earth? Sure, the vaccine is going to come real fast,”
“But if you were going to tell a friend, ‘I’ll be over relatively soon’ and then showed up a year and a half later, well, your friend may be relatively pissed off.”
The next clip shows Trump saying that the virus will “disappear like a miracle.”
“A miracle would be great! Who doesn’t love miracles? But miracles shouldn’t be Plan A,” Brad said .
“Even (Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger) tried to land at the airport first.”
He then went on to explain that as long as he isn’t fired, he would like to continue giving people the facts.
“When I hear things like the virus can be cured if everyone takes the Tide Pod Challenge, I’ll be there to say, ‘please don’t,” he says.
To wrap things up, Brad takes off his wig and glasses and speaks out of character.
Speaking as himself, he sent a message to the real Dr. Fauci, thanking him.
“And to the real Dr. Fauci, thank you for your calm and your clarity in this unnerving time,” he says .
He also took a moment to thank all front line and essential workers.
“And thank you to the medical workers, first responders and their families for being on the front line .”
“And now, live, kinda, from all across America, it’s Saturday night,” he concluded.
Even though this episode of Satuday Night Live was shot remotely, it was definitely a great one!
