It may seem a little early to some people but for those of us who love spooky season, it’s never too early to start thinking about Halloween decor ideas. In just over two months, people will be gearing up to make their homes a little more creepy than usual. Sometimes, this means simply adding a few jack o’lanterns or skull decor pieces, or even some bats and witchy items.
This DIY sunflower skull display, however, is unique and it is perfect to mesh Halloween spook with the beauty of fall florals.

They perfectly merge fall and Halloween into one incredible display, and they could not be more perfect for the occasion.
According to his Instagram post, Beejay worked on these skull flowers for a year!
It was a labor of spooky Halloween love, no doubt.

I seriously love this! It’s the perfect Halloween display for gardens that need a little seasonal face lift.
His intention was to make these part of a larger Halloween prop display, which he was able to hammer out in less than two weeks!
While he didn’t reveal how he created these, it looks like he must have glued each sunflower petal to the skull, and it looks like he also hand-painted the skulls.
The display was even more amazing at night.
And of course, he added a skeleton lawn flamingo to tie the whole display together.
Every day, he added more spooky elements to his display.
Just when you would think the display was already perfect, Beejay kept surprising us!
Beejay’s display is definitely Halloween decor goals.
