It’s safe to say that everyone has their favorite Pixar movie, right?
For some, it might be Toy Story . For others, it could be Finding Nemo .
But for a lot of us, it’s Up , and we’re celebrating its 10-year anniversary!
Pixar’s “Up” is most well-known for its opening scene.
You know, the one where you’re left a blubbering ball of emotions on the floor because everything Carl ever loved faded in the blink of an eye?
Besides that truly traumatizing scene, “Up” has remained a family classic after all these years.
It grossed over $735 million at box offices.
And it received five Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture.
This made it the second animated film ever to receive such nomination, following Beauty and the Beast .
It seems like just yesterday that we were falling in love with these characters.
I guess it’s time for a re-watch. Happy anniversary, Up !
