Dairy Queen has never been one to stifle celebration. From free ice cream day to their fan food favorites , the dessert world monarch reigns with poise, grace, and always convinces you to stuff your face.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, Dairy Queen has introduced a brand new Oreo-filled galaxy-themed masterpiece for us to enjoy, and of course, to take aesthetically pleasing Instagram pictures of.
Introducing the Zero Gravity Blizzard.

The sweet treat includes a base of vanilla ice cream mixed with Oreo pieces, cotton candy, swirled with a galaxy of purples and blues, and topped off with sprinkles shaped like stars and planets.
And just like all blizzards, it has to ‘defy gravity’ or your next blizzard is free.

Yep, it’s a thing that blizzards have to be cold enough to withstand being flipped upside down.
If they are too gooey and soft and end up falling out of the cup, your blizzard is re-made and free. Don’t know quite how that’ll work out with all those sprinkles, but hey, I’m not an astronomer.
The Zero Gravity Blizzard is available for a limited time only.

The moon landing’s 50th anniversary is technically July 20th, but several snack connoisseurs have taken to Instagram to show off their own Zero Gravity blizzards, which means that they’re currently available , though it is unclear how long Dairy Queen will be offering them.
Ready for your summer to be taken to the moon and back? So am I.
