Ashley St. Clair, the 26-year-old conservative influencer, took to the social media platform X/Twitter on Friday night to claim that she had a baby with Elon Musk five months ago.
St. Clair made a surprise announcement

The conservative influencer wrote that she had planned on keeping the baby shared between her and the tech mogul a private matter, but decided to tell the world after tabloids allegedly tried to invade her family’s privacy.
She wrote on social media

In a post on X/Twitter she made on Friday night, St. Clair posted an image with the announcement, captioning it “Alea lacta est,” which is Latin for “the die is cast.”
In the post she shared: “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father.”
St. Clair had kept it private
“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” the conservative influencer wrote.
“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”
Musk hasn’t acknowledged her claim
The owner of SpaceX has yet to acknowledge St. Clair’s claim that she had his 13th baby five months ago.
Although Musk follows St. Clair on the social media platform, and was online posting several times on other subjects in the same hour she made the announcement, the claimed father has yet to acknowledge her statement.
St. Clair logged off the platform
Three hours after she made the surprise announcement post, she came back to X/Twitter to thank people for their supportive messages and share that she was going to log off the platform.
“In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalists,” she wrote, before adding, “Will be spending time with my family & logging off for a while.”
Musk has children from different women
If St. Clair’s child is Musk’s, the tech mogul would have 13 children from four women. He has five children with his first wife Justine Wilson: twins Vivian and Griffin and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian.
Musk also shares three children with Grimes: Exa Dark Siderael, Techno Mechanicus, and toddler X, who was with Musk at the White House last week. He also shares twins Strider and Azure with Shivon Zilis.
Her representative put out a statement

Following Musk’s ignoring of St. Clair’s claims online, her representative Brian Glicklich put out a statement on Saturday.
He wrote on X/Twitter, “Ashley & Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time. It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially,”
“We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledge his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”
Musk and St. Clair met in May 2023

Speaking to The Post, St. Clair said she had crossed paths with Musk in May 2023, when he “slid into my DM’s”.
She recalled, “Musk was very funny. He was smart. He was very down to earth. It started with X interactions and he slid into my DM’s. I think it was a meme.”
We’ll wait and see if or when Musk will speak about claims that he’s the father of St. Clair’s child.
