For years, the internet has known Jocelyne Wildenstein as “Catwoman,” a nickname she earned after undergoing countless cosmetic surgeries to make herself look more cat-like. Jocelyne recently shared a throwback photo of herself pre-surgery, and the difference is stark.

At 82 years-old, she is what many would consider to be one of the original influencers. The daughter of a housewife and a sporting goods store employee, Jocelyne made a name for herself through a series of high-profile relationships — including her marriage to French-American billionaire, Alec N. Wildenstein.
The couple did not have the most stable of relationships

The divorce included one odd clause
During the tumultuous proceedings — which included Jocelyne and the presiding judge receiving multiple death threats — the judge stipulated that Jocelyne was not to use any of her alimony payments for cosmetic surgery, which she and her soon-to-be ex had previously indulged in.
Obviously, Jocelyne found a way to pay for them
Little of the extent of her cosmetic surgeries is known, with Jocelyne once insisting she had never had plastic surgery, and her appearance was instead attributed to her Swiss heritage.
She did later admit to some surgery
“The lynx has perfect eyes,” she told Vanity Fair of her affinity for her cat-like eyes. “If I show you pictures of my grandmother, what you see is these eyes—cat eyes—and high cheekbones.”
She shared a rare image of herself before her surgeries
In the now-deleted post, Jocelyne wished her daughter, Diane, a happy birthday, posting the sentiment alongside an image of her and a baby Diane. Daily Mail managed to get a snap of it before it was deleted.
Jocelyne does occasionally post other throwback pics
They are often from the era after she began having surgeries, but the carefully-styled pictures offer a glimpse into the cat-like image she had of herself at the time.
These days, she keeps mostly to social media
Jocelyne, who posts mainly on Instagram and is wise enough to keep her comments turned off, occasionally posts snaps of herself attending various fashion shows, doing photoshoots, or throwback videos of herself out and about in the ‘80s and ‘90s.
She remains iconic in the eyes of the internet
Obviously, her drastic cosmetic procedures continue to fascinate the internet. She boasts an impressive 1.1 million followers on Instagram, despite never having comments turned on and rarely using captions in her posts. A true diva!
