During raids on Diddy’s homes in LA and Miami back in March 2024, officials came across 1000 bottles of baby oil, a few AR-15s, and a bunch of things that seemed tied to his now well-known “freak off” parties. The baby oil blew up on Twitter real fast, and till now no one really explained what it was all for.
Cassie took the stand and testified on day two
So Monday kicked off Diddy’s federal trial in NYC. The court heard opening statements, and a couple of people took the stand: one was a security guard, the other managed male strippers. Then the jury wrapped up for the day.
Day two was mostly about Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s ex

They were on and off for around 11 years. She told the court that the baby oil was used during the “freak off” parties. She also said that she and other women were made to sleep with male sex workers. Diddy wanted the guys shiny, apparently. She said they’d go through around 10 huge bottles per party just so the guys could be “glistening.”
Diddy directed every detail of the events

Cassie said, “Every ‘Freak Off’ was, like, directed by Sean, like he knew specifically where he wanted everyone to be, the lighting and such.” She said over time, she and the others would end up rubbing the oil on each other.
Cassie recalled a specific moment in a hotel

“There was one time in a hotel,” she said, “where Diddy poured oil into an inflatable pool and told me to get in. Cover myself in it.” And she did, because “If that’s something Sean wanted to happen, that’s what was going to happen.”
She said there was no way to say no

Cassie added, “There wasn’t another way around it.” If they ever ran low on baby oil, Cassie said he’d make someone go grab more. Sometimes it was her.
“It was [Diddy’s] preference… If he felt you were too dry, he would let you know. You need to be shining,” she told the court.
Diddy’s lawyer addressed the baby oil claims in court
At the beginning of the trial, Diddy’s lawyer, Teny Geragos, tried to separate the weird stuff from what’s actually illegal. She said that being physical or using oil isn’t actually a federal crime.
“We will not shy away from the things he did, but we will not own the things he did not do,” the lawyer told the jury. “He is physical, he is a drug user, you may know of his love of baby oil. Is that a federal crime? No!”
Diddy faces serious charges and could get life in prison
Right now, Diddy’s saying he’s not guilty, but the charges are heavy. Racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution. If the jury finds him guilty, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
