Kraft Heinz has announced a recall of more than 5000 cases of Capri Sun due to a possible contamination.
After receiving complaints from customers about the taste of some of their products, Kraft Heinz has announced a recall on product that may have been contaminated by a diluted cleaning solution.
The recall was announced on August 12th.
The company announced that they will be recalling 5,760 cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored drinks after diluted cleaning solution was “inadvertently introduced” into a production line at a factory. The diluted cleaning solution is used on food processing equipment.
The affected drinks have a “best by” date of June 25th, 2023.
The company stated , “The issue was discovered after we received several consumer complaints about the taste of the affected product. The Company is actively working with retail partners and distributors to remove potentially impacted product from circulation.”
