Our Favorite TV Doctors Thanked 'Real Healthcare Heroes' In Touching Video

During these tough times we should all remember that although it might be hard for us to stay home and miss out on events we had planned, it's even harder for those who are working on the front lines to keep us safe.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

"The closest thing I've ever come to being a doctor is putting on a costume, and while it is close, it's not quite the same."

"But I just want to say thank you to the real healthcare heroes out there, and there are some other people who want to say thank you as well," Olivia Wilde, who played Thirteen on House M.D. began the video.

"I want to thank all the doctors and the nurses," added 'Grey's Anatomy's Patrick Dempsey.

"The real ones, not the ones that are on television."

Neil Patrick Harris, who played Doogie Howser, added, "I wish I was there with you guys to assist in my medical capacity, but probably all I would be doing would be writing prescriptions for myself, which is kind of all I did when I was 16 and 17."

Others who made appearances include Edie Falco from 'Nurse Jackie.'

Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, and Zach Braff from Scrubs all made an appearance, as did Dempsey's Grey's Anatomy co-stars Sandra Oh and Kate Walsh.
