The legacy of the Olsen family is incredibly far-reaching. Twins Mary-Kate and Ashley stole our hearts as Michelle Tanner on Full House and younger sister Elizabeth is currently an Avenger in the MCU .
However, what many people fail to realize is that there’s actually a fourth Olsen sister. Now, after spending a lifetime behind the curtain, it’s high time that the world was introduced to Courtney Taylor Olsen .

If you’re a ’90s kid, chances are that you grew up watching Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on the small and big screen.
Mary-Kate and Ashley’s big break came when they were cast to play Michelle Tanner in the ABC family sitcom, Full House .
From there, Mary-Kate and Ashley went on to star in a variety of feature films.
The best of which is undoubtedly It Takes Two , wherein Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen portray identical strangers who switch places in a classic ” The Prince and the Pauper ” type of fashion.
After spending their childhood in front of the camera, Mary-Kate and Ashley decided to quit Hollywood and focus on their fashion line.
This paved the way for Mary-Kate and Ashley’s younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, to take center stage. Fans will no doubt recognize Elizabeth from her role as Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch in the MCU.
Though, if you’re not an MCU follower…
You might know her from her roles in previous films such as Wind River, Oldboy, or even Kill Your Darlings! She’s been acting since 2011, starting much later in life than her older sisters, but still maintaining an impressive catalogue.
As it turns out, there is yet another Olsen sister who remains largely a mystery.
Courtney Taylor Olsen is the half-sister of Mary-Kate, Ashley, and Elizabeth. She was born in 1996 and is the daughter of David Olsen and his second wife, McKenzie.
Unlike her incredibly famous older sisters, Courtney has never appeared in any films or TV shows.
Despite the fact that Courtney appears to have her own IMDb page, this is a mistake. She shares a namesake with another actor, which is where the confusion derives from.
However, Courtney does keep company with a few notable and famous friends.
A quick scan of Courtney’s Instagram account reveals several pictures with actress Madison Pettis. Madison is a former Disney Channel alum, who has appeared in series such as Cory in the House as well as Phineas and Ferb .
She’s also been spotted posing with posters in support of her big sister, Elizabeth.
Here Courtney can be seen smiling next to the poster for Avengers: Infinity War which was released back in 2018. Courtney captioned the photo “Just admiring my badass of a sister .”
In terms of her relationship status with Mary-Kate and Ashley, very little has been made public.
Courtney has never made any public affirmations in support of either Mary-Kate or Ashley. It’s possible that the sisters may not have a tight-knit bond or she could also simply be respecting their wishes to remain absent on social media.
One of the few things we know for sure pertains to Courtney’s love life.
Scrolling through her Instagram reveals multiple pictures with her boyfriend, Paul. It appears that Paul has no social media to speak of, keeping things pretty subtle much like this fourth Olsen sister.
However, her photos with Paul span quite far.
The pair have been dating for a little more than six years, their relationship casually cataloged on Courtney’s Instagram for her almost 15,000 followers to keep up on.

Courtney’s pure white gown contrasts perfectly with Paul’s jet-black tuxedo. Judging from the loving way Paul attaches her corsage, it’s plain to see that these two care deeply for one another.
Courtney and Paul also recently took a trip.
The two to Moss Beach, California, in order to celebrate their six-year anniversary! By the looks of it, they had a great time, and make for an adorable, happy couple.
Some may question Courtney’s decision to stay out of the limelight.
Especially seeing as it was something all of her older sisters had chased before her. Though fame tends to run in families, maybe it just wasn’t her thing, or hasn’t been up to this point anyway.
Regardless, it doesn’t seem to bother her much.
Her social media shows that she appears to live a fun, fulfilling life even without the same level of fame as her family. She has many pictures alongside friends and doing unique activities, most with a bright smile on her face.
But who knows? Things could always change regarding her feelings toward stardom.
Whether or not Courtney will ever make her debut on the big screen remains to be seen. In the meantime, Olsen fans will have to be content with watching older sister Elizabeth in the forthcoming MCU film, Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness .
