Justin Timberlake Buys Wheelchair-Accessible Van For 17-Year-Old With Cerebral Palsy

There are a lot of benefits that come with being rich, or at least I assume there must be, given how much happier they seem than the rest of us. On top being able to afford all the luxuries in life that you could want, you can also make huge differences in people's lives for a relatively low cost to yourself and your fortune.

That really is the best of both worlds!

Some celebrities don't use their riches for very much other than themselves.

We've all read stories about celebrities with fifteen homes, or who spend tens of thousands every month on luxury items like private flights, wine, jewelry, and designer clothes.

I can't say I wouldn't indulge in all of that if I became rich, but since I'm not, I can judge them as much as I like!

Some celebrities, though, are always looking for ways to help out those less fortunate.

Like singer and actor Justin Timberlake, who just made a HUGE difference for a 17-year-old in Tennessee with cerebral palsy named Jake Stitt.

Jake and his family had been raising funds to try to be able to afford a wheelchair-accessible van before the holidays, and the story caught the attention of Justin.

It was announced on social media that they had raised enough money for the van.

"GOOD NEWS!! This family now has an adaptive van for the holidays. 17 year old Jake, who suffers from cerebral palsy, got a very special surprise today!" tweeted journalist Sam Luther.

But it got better for the family, even though it must've been really hard to beat a brand new van.

"The family raised $35k to cover the cost of the van but they’ll get to keep that money," Luther continued.

"Why?? Because @jtimberlake heard Jake’s story and wanted to help. He got the family the van, and even hopped on Zoom to chat with the 17 year old. The reaction says it all folks," he tweeted alongside a video of Justin speaking with the family.

Amazing — now they get the van and all the money they raised!

“It’s my pleasure,” Justin said in the video speaking to Jake,

“Like I said, I heard there was a goal to try to get this van before Thanksgiving. I heard your story and saw a little news clip about it," Justin told him.

It's amazing that celebrities see all the same viral stories that we do, isn't it?

Do you think Justin could be reading this, right now? Hi, Justin!

“I was so moved that I want you guys to have this van,” Justin went on.

“I’m going to cover all the costs. I want you guys to have a great holiday. You inspire me, Jake," he said.

There's got to be no greater confidence booster than hearing one of the most famous musicians of our time say he's inspired by you!

What an amazing gesture!

It's so nice to hear good stories about celebrities being kind, generous, and charitable rather than getting cancelled or getting into drama on social media!

What do you think about Justin's act of kindness? Let us know in the comments!
