I'm the first one to admit I'm not the best DIYer. I used to be when I was younger, but now I simply lack the time. And like they say, you lose it when you don't use it, ha, ha!
As it turns out, there are plenty of folks out there who shouldn't attempt DIY projects either. Check these out and have a good laugh.
Um, excuse me, is this a swing or a picnic table. Or is it both? Ha, ha! I don't know about you, but I would be a little too weary sitting on something like that.
This is what happens when you really want a truck but have a lot of kids, ha, ha! How did they even rig that up? I don't know if this is plain stupid or completely genius. I can't decide.
Is it just me, or has it been really hot out lately? I don't blame this person for attempting to cool themselves in their vehicle. I just wonder how well it actually works. Any guesses?
We all have our favorite childhood drinks. For me, it was always Fruitopia. I guess this person is a huge fan of Fanta that they had to make a hat out of old cans. I don't know how practical this would be, though.
Why hire someone to transport something heavy for you when you can do it yourself. Am I right? Somehow I don't know if I would feel safe stepping foot out this apartment building, hee-hee.
Why go to a mechanic when you can fix your car's breaks yourself. It's not like driving a car that's messed up is dangerous. Oh wait — it is. What in the heck was this person even thinking then?
This person really wanted a free-standing monitor, so they came up with the only thing they knew how to do. I admit this does look crazy to me, but apparently, it does hold up. Hmm, interesting!
I realize furniture can be quite expensive. So this person made himself a place he can rest his weary bum. However, I think this would be more like torture, so I'll have to pass on it.
Getting that bumper fixed can be expensive. I get that. So if you can stand looking at this fix here you should be good to go, ha, ha! I don't know about you, but looking at this would drive me bonkers.
I don't know about you, but this wouldn't be my way of fixing a hole in the window. I mean, I would try to get the same piece so it wouldn't look too obvious. I guess that wasn't on the agenda here.
OMG, what in the heck is going on here? Are these guys trying to transport a gazebo on top of their car? And is that guy holding on to it too? This is pretty unbelievable, right?
Again, it must really suck not to have air conditioning in your car. So I don't blame people for coming up with creative ways to beat the heat, ha, ha! This is a first for me, though.
Apparently, when the dryer relay goes bad, you can just resort to doing that. The dryer runs when pushing the start button but doesn't keep running, so they fixed it — or so they say, lol. I'll just take their word for it.
This dining chair/office chair hybrid has me scratching my head. Maybe someone wanted a dining chair with wheels, or an office chair that looked more elegant? I guess you could say it's the best of both worlds.
Can you believe somebody jigged this up and tried to sell it online? Who in their right mind would buy it for their kids to ride? I think this is something the girls from The Shining would enjoy, ha, ha!
But as it turns out, a lot of folks can't be bothered with that, ha, ha! So off they go into DIY mode. Can you relate or not?
