Dad Uses Baby As 'Cheesecake Table,' Making Mom Furious

When a couple starts a family, it won't take long before the difference in parenting styles between them becomes clear.

It's not uncommon for one of them to carefully check the ingredients of everything the baby eats only to discover their partner has let the baby take a nap with their head in the bowl while they play video games.

Although the mom in today's story would likely prefer what her man did to that, his actions clearly made her a little annoyed.

Elizabeth Henson, a mother of one and a partner to Jamie Pollard, has been catching the internet’s attention with her recent call-out post.

Now, by her photographs, you can clearly tell she loves her son and her boo — I mean this is just plain adorable.

However, not everything is as super-duper lovey as it seems.

She shared a photograph of her son with his father that, at first glance, seems harmless enough. But her caption spoke the words the photo couldn’t.

Here we see a nice, tender moment between father and child.

As we see Jamie Pollard relaxing with his three-month-old son, Chester, we also see that he's decided to tuck in to a slice of cheesecake.

Although, there's nothing wrong with each part of this, how they come together apparently wasn't impressing mama.

Elisabeth Henson posted the photos with a very illustrative caption.

As it begins, it's pretty clear that motherhood was no picnic before the baby even arrived.

Elizabeth painted a painful, dedicated picture with her words, describing the struggle of pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood.

"Imagine spending £15 on a clear blue test to find out you’re pregnant, spending 9 months growing your beautiful baby, enduring morning sickness, sciatica and stretch marks..." she wrote.

And of course, the famously difficult birthing process got a special mention as well.

She continued, saying, "giving birth and having him absolutely destroy everything on the way out, tearing, being injected, being sewn up, having your placenta pulled out with tongs with no pain relief or numbing"

And as most parents can confirm, once he was born, the challenges of being a parent just began.

It was at this point that she mentioned getting up with him every single night since she brought little Chester home.

So what does all of this have to do with the cheesecake photos?

Well, she asked us to imagine all of what she went through to bring Chester into this world, only "for him to be used as a f****** Cheesecake Table that you can buy from B&M for £3.50."

Now, to be fair, it seems like Elizabeth and Jamie have quite the playful relationship.

She shared this photo earlier, with a caption that read, “A year ago today we were just starting our relationship and now we’re in the midst of the craziness of building the most incredible life together with our beautiful little boy

“I love you, despite you knowing every way possible to annoy the living hell out of me xxx” she concluded.

So basically, their thing might just be mutual annoyance — cheesecake-gate included.

So, although the moment may have left her miffed, she also saw the fun side of it.

Her next post was all about how Chester loves his daddy and that was definitely a fine bit of multi-tasking.

However, it seems that some folks thought she took the whole matter more seriously than she really did.

Considering she responded to these messages in all caps when none of her initial post was like that, it should be kind of clear that she's exaggerating.

Apparently, it wasn't clear enough.

But for the most part, Henson's followers and the new visitors who heard about this just chuckled at the cute scene before them.

Many were sharing their own similar experiences, leaving comments like, "I love this Daddy/Son bonding moment ..... I am guilty of using my Grandkids as "mouse mats" whilst they're sleeping "on" me in the most precarious positions.

Your son is obviously content, he can hear Daddy's heart beat, and warmth .... and happy to be of "table service." This photo melts my heart."

At the end of the day, Elizabeth Henson obviously feels strongly about her man, Jamie.

"I’ve met the absolute love of my life and created the most loving, fulfilling relationship... And most importantly co-produced the most beautiful human being," she said in a caption.

It's safe to say, this whole this was a misunderstood joke. Plus, we can definitely run into the kind of day that can only be cured by seeing a baby who's this happy all the time.
