Yesterday, she not only shared a video of herself dancing to her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake ‘s song, “Filthy”, but she also called him a genius.

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were, without a doubt, one of the most iconic celebrity couples of our time.
Need I remind you of their matching head-to-toe denim outfits?

The pair met were just 10 and 11 years old, but it wasn’t until seven years later that they started dating.
At the time, Britney was touring with JT and the rest of the NSYNC boys as their opening act.
Eventually, their budding romance turned into one of the most high-profile relationships and breakups in pop culture history.
They dated from 1998 until 2002.

“When people get too personal it bothers me. But I’m not ashamed at all to say that I love him from the bottom of my heart,” Britney said in an interview back in 2001.
“As far as love is concerned, with him, too much is not enough. He’s everything .”
Unfortunately, things began to unravel less than a year later after Britney allegedly cheated on Justin with her choreographer, Wade Robson.
“The break-up was absolutely heartbreaking for me,” Justin said in an interview with The Telegraph shortly after their split.
“I can’t just have meaningless relationships with women,” he added. “I have to find miss right in order to have a relationship.
“There’s got to be that big moment when she comes along .”
Then came Justin’s hit song, “Cry Me A River”, famously written about Britney cheating on him.
At the time, reports claimed that Britney and her family were “mortified” over the song and video .
In response, however, she released her 2004 ballad, “Everytime”.
“You’re haunting me I guess I need you baby I may have made it rain please forgive me my weakness caused you pain And this song’s my sorry,” her lyrics read .
It’s been nearly 20 years since their iconic breakup, and it looks like they’ve managed to smooth things over.
However, Brit is loved up with her current boyfriend, Sam Asghari, and JT is married to Jessica Biel.
So, if you were hoping for a reunion, it doesn’t seem likely.
Yesterday, Britney took to Instagram to share one of her usual dance videos.
But this time, she filmed it to Justin’s song, “Filthy”, and naturally, fans loved it .
“This is my version of Snapchat or TikTok or whatever the cool thing you’re supposed to do these days,” she captioned the video.
“As you can see I’m not really dancing folks …… I’m just very bored “.
“PS I know we had one of the world’s biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey the man is a genius !!!!”
I mean, she’s not wrong. He is a genius.
“Great song JT ✨ !!!! Pssss if you KNOW WHAT’S GOOD !!!!!!,” she concluded.
Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Justin commented on the video.
He only responded using emojis, but I’ll take it! Better than nothing, amirite?
