Fans of the Royal Family have been eagerly awaiting Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. The celebrations kicked off on Thursday with a dazzling Trooping the Colour ceremony. A body language expert has weighed in on both Meghan and Kate Middleton’s body language and let me tell you, it’s fascinating.

HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee is in full swing.
After months of preparation, all eyes are on Buckingham Palace as the country celebrates its monarch.
The entire Royal family was in attendance, including The Queen’s grandson Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.
The pair, though in attendance, were not permitted to be on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Body language expert Judi James is weighing in on the glimpse fans saw of Meghan Markle, who was playfully shushing Savannah Phillips and Mia Tindall during the Trooping the Colour ceremony.
Speaking with “The Mirror,” Judi said the pair looked happy and relaxed.
“Glimpsed from a window we could see Meghan and Harry looking unexpectedly relaxed and upbeat in a low-key appearance that seemed much more to their tastes than previous awkward, tense appearances with the rest of the Firm.”
“Meghan was looking playful and in her element with a group of young royals who also seemed to adore her,” said Judi.
The expert explained that the Duchess was “shushing them with her eyes wide and rounded but also smiling and she shushed to suggest she wasn’t being totally serious.”
Judi continued to explain Meghan’s body language in regards to her husband, Prince Harry.
” Her loving gaze at Harry created some solid continuity with the more public PDAs the couple are famous for, and the fun they were having looked a world away from some of the more tense-looking poses from the top-level royals out on the balcony as they watched the fly-past.”
As for Kate Middleton, it’s clear she was not able to feel the same ease as her sister-in-law. As you may recall, Kate went viral Thursday for scolding Prince Louis.
As an active royal, Kate was there with her husband, Prince William, and their three children. “William and Kate emerged wearing their serious facial expressions,” said Judi.
Judi then explained the pair’s strategic balcony placement to ensure there’s enough parenting power between the three kids.
She explained how William directed the “children into position before standing apart from Kate to ensure a good spread of parental guidance.”
I’m glad to see the family is together again!
