Betty White’s 100 birthday just passed on Monday, January 17. What was meant to be a celebration of Betty’s birthday turned into a bittersweet event after the Hollywood icon passed away on December 31, 2021.
In honor of the Golden Girls actress, fans across the globe took part in the #BettyWhiteChallenge which involved donating $5 in Betty’s name to your local animal shelter.

Now, Betty’s assistant is sharing one of the last photos of Betty alive in honor of her friend’s birthday.
In the photo, Betty looks happy and radiant as she smiles for the camera in a bright green blouse.
“Hello Everyone! It’s Kiersten. Betty’s Assistant. On this special day, I wanted to share this photo of Betty. It was taken on 12/20/21,” she began.
“I believe it’s one of the last photos of her. She was radiant and beautiful and as happy as ever.”
She concluded: “Thanks to all of you who are doing kind things today and every day to make the world a better place.”
It’s no surprise to myself and to other fans of Betty that she was all smiles.
