Starting school can be a very confusing time for many kids. Being around all new classmates can sometimes make things stressful.
Pre-school isn’t always easy.

Not all kids make the adjustment into a full day of school super easily.
Sometimes, kids can be cruel.

Kids at that age can be pretty mean without realizing how much it can impact another person.
Three-year-old Lydia from Spring Hill, Florida had a hard time in her pre-school.

Her mom, Erica Calculli, said that Lydia was being bullied by a lot of the kids at school and would come home crying.
While kids can be kids, things got pretty bad.

One day, Lydia came home with a bruised eye.
“She told me that a bunch of girls and one boy hit her and a girl threw a shoe at her eye,” Erica told local news station WTSP.
Erica spoke to the teachers.

However, she said they didn’t do much to help the situation.
So, the mom tried something else instead.

She reached out to Jack Asbury, a man from Spring Hill who’s known as their “local Batman.”
Batman put on his suit and took Lydia to school.

Calculli posted the photos online and showcased how touching the moment was.
“Lydia got a surprise visit at school from The Batman Of Spring Hill.”

She wrote:
“I really hope she’s more comfortable at school now, and I can’t wait to talk to her when she gets home. Thank you again, Jack!”
Jack, er, I mean, Batman, wrote on his own page, too.

“I made a new friend today. This is Lydia.
She was being bullied at school … to the point she didn’t want to go. So I reached out and asked her if I could walk her to school.”
He hopes he’s helped her overcome her fears.

“Hopefully this will help her overcome the fear, knowing who has her back.”
What a touching story!
Anyone else on the verge of tears after reading this? Way to save the day, Batman.
