Fans of the iconic Back to the Future franchise are emotional after videos from New York Comic Con were shared on social media. On Sunday, Michael J. Fox, 61, and Christopher Llyod, 83, shared the stage and reflected on the classic ’80s film franchise.
The reunion was in part a celebration of the Back to the Future- -themed musical currently on stage in London, with plans for it to come to Broadway next year.
As we ALL know, “Back To The Future” is a CLASSIC ’80s film franchise, starring Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly and Christopher Loyd as Doc Brown.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 37 years since the first film came out in 1985.
Since the film franchise ended, it’s clear Michael and Christopher have continued their admiration for one another on and off-screen.
Christopher is in constant support of Michael’s annual charity poker night, as is evidenced by their series of IG pics together.
Most recently, the pair reunited on stage at New York Comic Con, as was seen in a video shared by Twitter user @ellistender10.
“The chemistry was there from the first scene we had, it was alive, and it remained that way for three movies,” Christopher said of his friend, as per ET. “It hasn’t gone away, by the way.”
As fans of Michael know, the actor has long been battling Parkinson’s disease. While speaking to the crowd, he explained why it was so important for him to be at the event in person despite his medical condition.
“You guys have given me my whole life,” he told fans. “The best thing that happened in my life was this thing. Parkinson’s is a gift,” he added
“I’ve said to people it’s a gift and they say, ‘You’re nuts.’ I say, ‘Yeah, but it’s the gift that keeps on taking.’ But it’s a gift and I wouldn’t change it for anything … It’s not about what I have, it’s about what I’ve been given.”
Fans took to social media to praise Michael and his unrelenting strength.
“Lovely moment but damn Parkinson’s. Michael J. Fox has such courage,” tweeted one fan.
“A lovely and touching moment… and yet, it is so sad. I was aware of Michael’s condition, of course, but I hadn’t appreciated that it had progressed so far. Much love and respect to him,” echoed another.
It warms my heart to see these two (and their fans) constantly supporting one another!
