Okay, so we know that Ariana Grande has been releasing music rapidly these days like it’s nobody’s business.
It’s honestly hard to keep track. It feels like every month she’s releasing new music and I’m still trying to process Sweetener .

Anyways, fans have put her most recent single under a microscope and noticed something major .
On Monday Ariana Grande randomly released a new song with her bestie, singer-songwriter, Victoria Monét.
The track is all about “friendship, freedom, protecting your energy and staying right in your bag” according to Ari.
Ari and Victoria have written countless songs together in the past, including “Thank U, Next”.
But this is the first time they’ve recorded and released a song together with a music video.
The song is an absolute bop.
And, I highly recommend taking two and a half minutes out of your day to watch the music video, it’s entertaining af.
But there was one lyric in particular that stood out to all of us.
Ariana sang the lyrics “I like women and men,” and the internet is having a meltdown over it.
Was this Ariana’s subtle way of opening up about her sexuality?
Obviously, nobody ever has to “come out” if they don’t want to. Your sexuality is your business and no one else’s.
But we couldn’t help but notice and get kinda excited over it.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to publicly freak out.
But things got even spicier when Victoria Monét responded to one of the comments.
This is a pretty straight forward answer, so naturally, fans began to enthusiastically celebrate that Ariana Grande may be bisexual.
But then, Ariana herself decided to chime in and clarify. Sort of.
Ari explained that she has never labeled her sexuality before and she still doesn’t feel the need to. “Which is okay,” she said.
Fans began to do a little bit of investigating and found that Ari had been recently been liking some tweets that are totally relevant to this situation, like this one:
“Sexuality is fluid and no one has to ‘come out’ as anything if they don’t want to.”
Duly noted.

This fan thinks that Ariana is “queerbaiting” for publicity.
They wrote that they think she is “treating bisexuality like it’s some cute [expletive] joke for straight women to play with.”
This person agrees, claiming that they believe Ariana is pretending to be bi as a “trend”.
Adding they are annoyed that not being straight is a “thing” that is exploited.
Some fans think that Ari has already profited off of Black culture and that now she is trying to profit off of the LGBT community.
Ari has faced a ton of backlash, being accused of cultural appropriation after her recent song release “7 Rings”.
Another fan tweeted that Ari has been forcing herself and profiting off of the LGBT community for a while now.
They pointed out that this isn’t the first time she has queerbaited before, and that they are “tired of her”.
This person defended Ariana by pointing out how in the past, women who claim to be bisexual are often not taken seriously.
They used Rita Ora as an example, comparing her to Ariana.
When Rita outright admitted that she is “50/50” and likes men and women, fans still weren’t fully accepting it.
Now, this person believes the same thing is happening to our girl, Ari.
Ultimately, people just want some concrete answers that Ariana is not obligated to give us.
