Elon Musk recently purchased social media app Twitter, and since then the app has not been the same. The company, the users, the policy, and the company’s relationship with other companies have changed.
Elon Musk’s Twitter May Not Be Available On App Stores
After purchasing Twitter, Musk implemented the policy where he would allow any type of content that does not violate law. Therefore, this move could potentially blur the line and users can expect racist, sexist, or misinforming tweets on the platform.

Keeping this in mind, tech giant Apple may soon not have Twitter available on the App Store. This is because one of Apple’s primary policy’s is the protection of users. Therefore, every app that is listed on the App Store has to agree to a predetermined checklist.
Considering the way Elon Musk has modified the policies for content moderation, they may not comply with Apple’s policies.
Elon Musk Threatens To Make His Own Smartphone
In the off-chance that the tech giant removed Twitter from the App Store, Musk has a good mind of making his own smartphones.
Liz Wheeler took to social media to tweet about the idea, claiming that if Elon Musk can build rockets, making a smartphone will not be difficult.
To this, Elon Musk responded by saying, “if there’s no other choice, I will make an alternative phone”.
Several Employees Have Quit Twitter
After Elon Musk purchased Twitter, he fired several employees. In fact, some of them were fired via mass emails too.
Most of the employees were from the content moderation team, and of course, the individuals who occupied the highest levels in the company such as former CEO Parag Agarwal.
On the other hand, Elon Musk sent an email where he claimed employees needed to be ready to put in more effort and be ready to work long hours. Following this, several employees across the globe quit the company.
It’s unknown how Elon Musk plans to build back the company given most of the senior engineers have quit. But if a man has built and sent rockets to space, he must have a plan for a company he took over!
Why Did Elon Musk Purchase Twitter?
Initially, it was said that Elon Musk is purchasing Twitter to modify the way the platform handles free speech. He believes that if any content is not violating a law, it should be allowed on the platform.
Musk has even said that he purchased the platform to help humanity and not to make money, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
He has already deactivated some of the Twitter accounts which were constantly stirring controversies such as Donald Trump and Kanye West (now known as Ye).
Furthermore, Elon Musk has plans to make money off some of the content on Twitter!
