A mob of anti-mask enthusiasts recently flocked to a Target store in Florida and encouraged other shoppers to ditch their face coverings, all while blasting the Twisted Sister song, “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”
As HuffPost reported, the MAGA-outfitted marchers caused quite the scene as they hollered their way through the store, hoping to convince other customers to join their protest and abandon their own face masks.

Video of the disruption shared online shows a group of about a dozen or so people, including children, taking part in the spectacle.
While none of the marchers were wearing masks, many came sporting their favorite MAGA garb, such as red hats and t-shirts.
“Take your mask off,” various people throughout the group shouted at those customers who had stopped to witness the scene. “Take them off!”
A man at the front of the group, who appeared to be leading the charge, held up his phone as he walked.
The song, “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” as made famous by the band Twisted Sister, blasted from the device, appearing to be meant as some sort of anthem for the anti-maskers’ march.
“We’re not gonna take it anymore,” one woman in the group shouted, receiving virtually no enthusiasm from spectators in response.
The marchers even attempted to use the presence of the children in the group to rally more support.
“Look at these kids,” one woman shouted, gesturing at the mask-less youngsters trailing behind her. “Let them be an example!”
It would appear at least one person felt compelled to join the march, as seen in the video wearing a black shirt and a red MAGA hat with his discarded face mask in his hand.
That being said, it’s unclear whether he was actually moved by their efforts, or if he had already been part of the group and simply joined in an attempt to encourage others to do the same.
“F***ing idiots,” the person behind the camera can be heard saying as the group, and its newest recruit, march past them.
Since it was posted this week, the video has been viewed nearly 35 million times.
In the comments, other Twitter users have largely condemned the spectacle and all those who decided to take part in it.
As this person wrote, “They woke up this morning and thought, ‘should I mildly inconvenience myself and wear a light piece of cloth on my face for an hour or so during a pandemic in order to protect other human beings OR should I ignore science and make a complete ass of myself in public on camera?'”
One participant of the Target march named Cristina Gomez livestreamed the lead-up to the event on Facebook.
In that video , the group can be seen gathered together outside the store before heading inside, and Gomez turns the camera on herself to share some words of wisdom.
“If an infant doesn’t wear a mask, then no one should wear a mask,” she says. “People looking at us like, ‘What’s going on?’ Isn’t it crazy how people now look at me like we crazy because we don’t have a mask on? I think y’all crazy for having a mask.”
Word of the video and the marchers’ anthem has even reached Twisted Sister front-man Dee Snider, who made his feelings on the matter quite known.
“No,” he wrote on Twitter in a retweet of the original video, “these selfish assholes do not have my permission or blessing to use my song for their moronic cause.”
