Freddie Mercury was one of the greatest vocalist on Earth, and as the lead singer of one of the greatest rock bands on Earth, had a huge impact on the world of music before his untimely death in 1991.
Freddie passed away at the age of 45 due to complications from AIDS.
He passed away in November of 1991, almost thirty years ago. On September 5th, he would’ve celebrated his 73rd birthday.
In honor of this event, a new animated music video was released.
Esteban Bravo and Beth David created an incredibly touching animated music video for Mercury’s “Love Me Like There’s No Tomorrow” in collaboration with The Mercury Phoenix Trust, which fights AIDS worldwide.
The heartbreaking music video depicts two young men falling in love despite one of them having a disease.

“Of the many responsibilities we have to our artists, safeguarding their legacies is perhaps the most important one,” Dave Rocco, EVP of Creative at Universal Music Group, said in a statement about the music video.
The statement continued.
“As far-reaching and as radical a legacy as Freddie Mercury’s, it is our duty to ensure he continues to provoke, educate and inspire.”
Happy birthday, Freddie. You can watch the music video here.
