American actor James Woods is no stranger to getting himself into trouble on Twitter.
In 2018, The Star reported that Woods had been locked out of his personal Twitter account after violating the social media site’s rules.

He reportedly sent out a tweet containing a hoax meme claiming to be from Democrats, and he encouraged men not to vote in the upcoming midterm elections.
At the time of the incident, Woods insisted he wouldn’t delete the Tweet.
“Free speech is free speech – it’s not Jack Dorsey’s version of free speech,” Woods told The Star in reference to Twitter’s Chief Executive.
Twitter reportedly suspended Woods from accessing his account on the grounds that he had affected the political process.
After regaining control of his Twitter account soon after, Woods returned to tweeting as normal.
On his Twitter page , he has been quite vocal about his support for Donald Trump and often backs the president’s statements while countering critics’ claims.
In the wake of the Mueller Report investigation, Woods has been particularly active on Twitter.
The day after the official Report was released to public, Woods tweeted a political cartoon depicting the report being filtered through a “fake news” machine and then given to such news outlets as CNN and NBC.
Now it seems Woods has gone too far in his politically-charged tweeting.
Inquisitir has reported that the actor has been suspended from using his Twitter account once again after a tweet he made in response to the Russia report from Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Woods’ tweet was posted on April 19, the day after the report was released. This was also the last day Woods showed any activity on his account.
The quote Woods used in the Tweet is from Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Twitter considered “Hang Them All” to constitute ‘abusive behavior’ and banned Woods from using his account.
The actor’s girlfriend, Sara Miller, shared news of the ban on her own Twitter account with a screenshot of the email Woods received detailing the reasoning behind his suspension.
Some Twitter users are voicing their opinions on Woods’ ban, with many supporting Twitter’s decison.
“Twitter pretends like it’s hard to get rid of James Woods, but it’s not,” podcast host and activist host Adam Best tweeted. “Look how easy it was for Hollywood to do it.”
Others are siding with Trump and protesting Twitter’s decison.
“Social media is a RIGGED GAME,” one user tweeted, which they then followed up with a tweet supporting Donald Trump and calling him the “King of social media.”
In response to Woods’ ban, Donald Trump has announced he is “monitoring the censorship” of certain parties.
In another tweet Trump expressed his “surprise” at Woods’ ban, as well as the recent ban of other right-wing activist, Paul Joseph Watson.
Most recently, Trump took to Twitter and expressed his disbelief at the number of Conservative voices being banned.
He also mentioned the Democratic party and “fake news media” in his latest tweet regarding the bans.
“Social Media & Fake News Media, together with their partner, the Democrat Party, have no idea the problems they are causing for themselves,” he tweeted on Saturday. “VERY UNFAIR!”
It is unclear how long Wood’s ban is expected to last.
According to Inquisitir, there are only conflicting reports so far, though some have claimed that Woods’ would regain possession of his Twitter account if he deleted the offending tweet.
