He began his major junior hockey career in Seattle during the 2001–2002 season as a member of the Western Hockey League before getting selected by the NHL Boston Bruins. In the 2003 draft, the Bruins selected Thompson in the sixth round.

According to local authorities, Renner was run over on New Year’s Day by a snowplow weighing “at least 14,3330 pounds.” He is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
People stated on Tuesday that the Oscar contender had undergone surgery and was in “serious but stable condition” due to “blunt chest injuries.”
The following day, while thanking his followers for their “kind words,” Renner shared a selfie on Instagram showing his injuries, which included bruises and scrapes on his face. We wish the actor a quick recovery.
