Although it was once fashionable to act like you didn’t care about anything, one look at Twitter should be all the proof you need that that time has been over for years now. No matter how aloof and above it all some of us might like to seem, there are at least a couple of causes that we are passionate about.
And if you need a reminder of that fact, all you need to do is wait until Thanksgiving, when your beliefs are likely going to experience some push back.

Some people, however, spend a lot more of their time wearing their values on their sleeves. And as we’re about to see, those people are pretty easy to spot.
I’m not sure if someone watched *They Live* again or just wanted to rant about the “real world,” but they somehow gave us these.
On the plus side, at least the kid seems to be enjoying their totally superfluous goggles.
This person discovered the hard way that their high horse was really a pony.
To be fair, I can see why they wouldn’t have expected someone to break their phone use down to a sophisticated estimate like this, but that self-reflection must’ve hit hard.

So while they’re standing up and making sure they’re heard with these signs, they’ve also made sure their dissent was worded as politely as possible.

Apparently, someone was understandably upset when the city cut down some trees in their neighborhood.
Unless those trees had some kind of disease, it looks like the local government has some explaining to do on that one.
It may be hard to tell what this kid is protesting, but they’ve definitely got that rebellious spirit!
So once their worldview goes beyond, “Look at this picture I drew,” they’ll probably be unstoppable.
This definitely seems well-intentioned, but the wording is a little bit confusing.
That is unless they’ve become so good at educating people that they’ve taught piles of clothes how to become real children.

These Lebanese protesters decided to let Airbnb know what they were dealing with here.
And sure, it may not look too comfortable, it doesn’t technically count as shelter, and it’ll probably be hard to sleep with all the chanting and strife going on.
But you have to admit, you can’t beat that price.

Well, I suppose I can’t argue with the way this person hooks their audience’s interest.
Apparently, this is in response to road tolls set up by the Norwegian government after they expanded their road infrastructure.
Based on that cheeky facial expression, I think this guy knows exactly what reactions he’s going to get.
So enjoy your impressed chuckles from supporters and knee-jerk circular arguments from opponents, my friend. They’re well earned.
As the holidays fast approach, this person has a friendly reminder for us all.

It’s usually fairly easy to tell what people are protesting, but it seems we’ve hit an exception with this guy.
You’d think a position like this would have more support, but is anybody really arguing that money isn’t real?

Otherwise, I need to know what just happened to him for this to be such an immediate concern.
No wonder he’s angry.
Unfortunately, it’s a little hard to stand behind a message when it’s this confusing.
I mean, which one do we do first? Do we leave the oil in the ground or keep the airplane from taking off.
Are the signs being displayed the wrong way? It’s legitimately hard to tell.
No matter how colorful that sign is, I think this counter-protester found a way to upstage it.
Based on the Pride flag in the foreground and what’s written on this person’s sign, I’m guessing this is not the first time someone like this has crashed their celebration.
This may not be protesting a social or government action, but it needed to be said all the same.
If you think you’ve got a piece of wisdom, trying to trick people by pretending Albert Einstein said it just isn’t going to work anymore.
This Danish protester seems to have a very serious look on his face, but that’s about all we have to go on.
Unfortunately, his zeal was a little greater than his planning because it seems that he grossly underestimated how visible his sign would be from this perch.
If there’s such a thing as being “too woke,” one could argue that this guy wasn’t woke enough.
As much as I can appreciate that a TV camera seems like a golden opportunity to try and sell your mixtape, I get the feeling that people’s minds are on other things right now.
It’s always hard when an issue divides a family.
What we have here is a six-year-old protesting her younger sister’s butt jokes and the four-year-old in question counter-protesting for her right to free expression.
I’m sure that’s exactly how she put it.
When we’re passionate about something, a monumental amount of effort can suddenly seem worth it.
So while some people might wear their calls for gun control on their sleeves, this woman does them one better by wearing it on her head.
And that passion takes a lot of sacrifice because putting clothes on like this must be a nightmare.
We all know Mr. Krabs is unscrupulous and money-hungry, but it seems that Twitter has unearthed some of his darker secrets.
It may sound a little far-fetched, but would we honestly put this past him. And wait, do you think Squidward’s always so sad because he knows?
This makes me wonder if anyone’s ever honked near a protest sign that told them to just because the guy in front of them cut them off.
In either case, I can see the driver getting a lot of kudos that they’re receiving with a confused look on their face.
Bonus points if the person who delivered this and the angry driver I mentioned above are the same person having a very strange, but reinforcing day.
I guess this is once way of proving that the people in charge of healthcare decisions don’t know what they’re talking about.
If they can’t read the sacred texts of scribble, then who are they to tell medical professionals what to do?
Some folks are getting a taste of this feeling earlier than expected this year, but I’ll just leave it here for when we really need it.

OK, this is fine. This isn’t as bad as it sounds. After all, it’s not like you actually have to go to Africa to bless the rains there.
Sadly, there is no movement that doesn’t require some level of sacrifice.
Worker’s rights are important enough to make this worth it, but let’s not forget the people who were awakened by megaphone shouting along the way.
Nice try, but this person knows what can really make them let the cops in.
I’m not sure how well this works on salespeople and other unwanted visitors, though.
At least it covers the most important one.
The teacher is going to have to be really careful about how they mark this one wrong.
Actually, I guess they could sidestep the discussion entirely by saying that privilege isn’t really an emotion and that people might have it in life whether they’re happy about it or not.
It would be pretty hilarious if I said this and a five-year-old called me a coward, though.
This was a pretty questionable promotion, so it’s nice to see it blow up in the face of whoever thought of it.
So whether these guys had the same suspicions or they just wanted free gas, well done. Unless the people behind this idea also own a clothing company, it probably didn’t last long.
It may not have much to do with the road, but they definitely got their message out.
And it’s not like replacing this message with “No he wasn’t, everything’s fine” will do much to decrease people’s suspicions.
