For decades, female celebs have been asked things like “who are you wearing?” on the red carpet.
Meanwhile, males get asked meaningful questions all the time about their lives and work.

Taylor wasn’t afraid to dish out the ultimate death glare to this interviewer who said that the singer would likely be going home with “lots of men.”
In response, she said that she would be going home to her cats. Go, Tay!
2. Cate Blanchett
The actress wasn’t down for having an E! cameraman pan up and down her body while she was being interviewed on live TV.
“Do you do that to the guys?” she said , pointing right at the camera.

When she was asked during an interview whether she’d rather go without her makeup or her phone, she did the boss thing by refusing to answer.

The singer has had to deal with pregnancy questions for years, but we never expected it to come from Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.
During a video interview, Anna had straight-up asked Rihanna if she was ever going to have a baby.
Judging by this image of her reaction, she was taken aback by the personal question.
“I don’t think about stuff like that,” she said, shutting down the question.

When Lauren Conrad was asked what “her favorite position” was during an interview with Sway In The Morning, she had the perfect response .
“CEO,” she said, proving exactly why the star is so classy and successful.

After the gymnast’s dance, he asked why she wasn’t smiling . Simone had the perfect response to this: “smiling doesn’t win you gold medals.”
7. Blake Lively
Wrong place, wrong time.
The actress was at a women’s empowerment event — of all places — when she was asked about her outfit.
“Are we really doing this? Would you ask a man that?” she responded.
The timing of the question was even more inappropriate since Blake was being honored for her work fighting against child sex trafficking and pornography.
“Become more aware, and that we change, and that we build a women up. So, you can ask me another question,” she added.
8. Cara Delevingne
This was the model’s reaction when the interviewers at CBS Sacramento said that she seemed tired and unenthusiastic while promoting her movie, Paper Towns .
“You do seem a bit irritated,” said one of the hosts. “Perhaps, it’s just us.”
Thankfully, Cara stood up for herself. “Hey now, too far,” she said. She even ended up leaving soon after.
In the end, fans took the model’s side, as they believed that the interviewers were being unprofessional and mean.
9. Emma Stone
When Stone did a joint interview with ex-boyfriend and Spiderman co-star, Andrew Garfield, they got asked vastly different questions.
The tip of the iceberg was when Emma was asked about her hair color.
“Why? Why is that important?” Garfield asked.
“I don’t get asked that question,” he added.
“You get asked interesting, poignant questions because you are a boy,” Emma said.
To this, the reporter even acknowledged that “it’s sexism.” We love Emma’s hair, but it’s not question-worthy.
10. Keira Knightley
As a proud feminist, the Pirates of the Caribean actress is never afraid to call out sexism.
She did just that when she was asked by a reporter, “How do you balance your career and having a personal life?”
Her response was epic: “Um, are you going to ask all of the men that tonight?”
11. Scarlett Johansson
When the actress was being interviewed by Extra to promote her Marvel film, things did not go well.
There was a huge discrepancy between the question they asked her and the one they asked her co-star, Jeremy Renner.
“What’s going on?” Scarlett said, clearly annoyed.
“You’re like the fifth person to ask me that question. Since when did people start asking each other in this industry about their underwear?”
Any attempts at salvaging this interview were squashed.
12. Anne Hathaway
Remember that interviewer that asked Scarlett Johannson about her underwear? Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only time he made that mistake.
When he was interviewing the Catwoman star, he kept mentioning her “form-fitting” costume.
After several of these intrusive questions, Anne had enough.
“Are you trying to lose weight? Like, what’s the deal, man? You look great.”
