Now, actress and eternal goddess Jennifer Garner is speaking out again about how the years of being chased by photographers has negatively affected her children.

While doing the virtual press tour for her movie, Yes Day , Jennifer has been opening up about the trauma her children experienced at the hands of the incessant paparazzi, prior to the California laws enacted in 2013.
As fans may recall, Jennifer and a team of celebrity parents (led by Halle Berry) decided to take action on the paparazzi issue and passed a bill that made it a crime for photogs to photograph children without permission.
Jennifer called the law “life-changing” in a new interview with Jess Cagle on his SiriusXM show.
“It didn’t even seem like it was possible – we just wanted it so badly,” she recalled.
“My daughter gave a speech to a collection of police officers, the California District Attorney and to all kinds of people,” Jennifer continued.
“She was 5 and she talked about what it was like to be followed and how scary it was. She talked about how she felt trapped… as a 5-year-old. But that law being passed did make it better,” she added.
“We used to have 20 [paparazzi] at a time, now we only have one or two.”
“They look like weapons, you know? Those big cameras pointed at a little kid,” she added. “It was scary for a long time, for a really long time.”
