Our pets really are part of the family. It’s hard not to love them as much as you’d love a sibling. One especially wholesome part about owning a pet is seeing them interact with kids. While it’s important to never leave a small child with dogs or cats unattended, your pets might also end up becoming your child’s best friends.
In a TikTok posted by Carolyn Manalis, who runs an account dedicated to her dogs Arnold and Frank , the two pups eagerly await as Carolyn’s toddler hands out snacks to each of them. The TikTok was uploaded earlier this week and ended up going viral.
And It’s So Cute!
“Sharing is caring,” the video’s title reads. In the 30-second clip, the toddler reaches into a bag of snacks, giving one to each of the dogs in turn. At the beginning of the video, the toddler pulls out two snacks to give to Arnold, the Weimaraner (the larger of the two dogs). Next, she gives a snack to the small dachshund, Frank, though she accidentally drops it on the ground (but Frank is pretty quick in picking it back up and eating it). The video ends with the toddler giving the large dog one more treat.
In the four days since the TikTok was first uploaded, it’s been viewed 1.6 million times. Nearly 70 thousand people liked it, and over 2000 people dropped by to leave a comment.
TikTok Users Couldn’t Get Over How Cute The Video was!

Between the crinkling of the bag and the calmness of everyone involved (even the dogs), it’s easy to see why this TikTok went viral. Users were in love with the way the toddler and the dogs interacted with one another. Commenters couldn’t help but react to the way the dogs and toddler all acted like siblings.
Many Were Quick To Compliment The Kid’s Generosity.

This is a toddler who definitely understands how to share. Some commenters took the time to compliment Carolyn on her child’s generosity, since it’s clear that the baby is quite kind, and loves those dogs as much as Carolyn does.
Others Reacted To How Well Trained The Dogs Are.

Not only is the toddler gentle and kind, but the dogs are gentle as well. They were not rough with the toddler; instead, they waited patiently to get treats and took them without hurting the child. Talk about one happy family!
