Kelsea and Morgan were married for under five years. The two met in 2016 and during a joint cohost of the CMC Awards in Australia. They got engaged that same year and married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in December 2017.

In her split announcement, Kelsea also touched on the concept of growth and self-improvement.

Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Ballerini admitted total anger when first hearing the track, even saying that she was “livid.”
