The Wiggle’s Greg Page is on the mend.
The group just shared a positive update about the original band member who collapsed during last Friday’s charity concert in Australia.
Last week, Greg Page collapsed during the charity concert for bushfire relief in Sydney.

He’s the lead singer of the popular Australian children’s music group The Wiggles.
For the sold-out charity concert, Page reunited with his former bandmates on stage: Anthony Field, Murray Cook, and Jeff Fatt.
Together, they made up the Blue, Red, Yellow and Purple Wiggles.
The original group first grew to popularity in Australia during the ’90s.

Before this year’s charity concert, the Wiggles hadn’t performed together for several years since the original band was replaced with new members in 2013.
After Greg collapsed at the Sydney concert, The Wiggles took to Twitter to update fans.

“At the end of the show this evening there was a medical incident off stage involving Greg Page,” they began.
“Medics were called immediately and he was taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment.”

“We will provide more information as it comes to hand.”
This soon led to an outpour of support of fans:
“Oh no!! Sending our love & well wishes. We love you guys so much,” another added.
Later, the group confirmed that Greg Page had suffered cardiac arrest.
They also shared that he had been taken to the hospital.
“He has had a procedure and is now recovering in hospital. We appreciate your kind messages and concern.”
Since Greg was in the hospital, some “Wiggly friends” jumped in to make sure the show went on.
One fan didn’t like this, though, and even encouraged the band to cancel their shows.
“Cancel the show it’s more important for yellow wiggle to recover,” they wrote .
More recently, The Wiggles shared a positive update that showed a recovering (and smiling!) Greg.

“We’ve visited Greg this morning & he wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes,” they began.
“He’s so grateful for the messages of love & support from around the world.”

They continued:
“Greg’s main concern was that the show tonight should go on. Let’s do it for Greg whilst raising much needed funds.”
Fans were so relieved from the update.
Another wrote :
“Get well soon. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Greg. I survived my CA nearly 5 yrs ago, thanks to my husband who knew CPR and then Paramedics and MICA Paramedics. PLEASE EVERYONE, LEARN CPR. YOU COULD BE SAVING YOUR LOVED ONE OR SOMEONE ELSES LOVED ONE.”
Fans might not know this, but Page retired from The Wiggles in 2006 due to medical reasons.
He had been diagnosed with orthostatic intolerance, which makes it difficult for the performer to stand for long periods at a time without feeling dizzy or fainting.
He rejoined the group as the Yellow Wiggle in 2012, before retiring again.
When news of Greg’s collapse was first reported, some fans believed that his condition was to blame.
For example, one tweeted:
“Not making assumptions, but Greg does have othorstatic intollenrance, which has known symptoms such as fainting, but in between fainting episodes they may feel weak, lightheaded, have palpitations or abnormal sweating, feel nauseated and experience problems with concentration,” they wrote .
But as far as we know, he suffered from cardiac arrest — not his condition.
Either way, we’re just so happy that he’s doing well and wish him all the best in his recovery!
