Justin Bieber has broken his silence on what many have been speculating: whether he was a victim of rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ alleged crimes.
He had remained quiet
The singer had largely remained silent while his former friend and longtime collaborator, Diddy, was arrested in September, 2024.

The two used to be friends
Combs, 55, and Bieber 31, knew each other quite closely, having met back when Bieber was only 14 years old.
The pair met after Bieber signed with Usher and Scooter Braun’s label RBMG Records in 2008, which he is now no longer part of.
A clip of the pair resurfaced
After the rapper’s properties were raided, a clip of Combs hanging out with 15-year-old Justin Bieber resurfaced on the internet in March of last year.
The video, shared to Bieber’s official YouTube page in 2009, shows the two in the midst of spending 48 hours together.
The two seemed close at the time
With Diddy having known Justin since he was a child, and after the clip of the two of them spending 48 hours together without disclosing exactly what they were doing, people online began to worry about whether Bieber had been one of Combs’ victims.
Bieber has spoken out about the news
Now that Diddy is on trial for multiple charges of sexual assault and trafficking, people have been wondering about Bieber’s stance on the matter.
A representative for the singer has finally spoken on his behalf.
Bieber was not one of Diddy’s victims
“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” the singer’s representative said. “Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”
“He’s aware of Diddy’s arrest and all the allegations,” they added. “It’s not anything that he wants to focus on, though.”
The pair spent 48 hours together
In the video titled, ‘JUSTIN BIEBER’s 48 HRS with DIDDY!!’, which happened in 2009, Diddy refused to “disclose” what he and Bieber were up to as the two mentioned the idea of getting “some girls.”
Diddy said in the video, “You ever seen the movie 48 Hrs? Right now [Justin is] having 48 hours with Diddy, him and his boy, they’re having the times of their lives.”
The rapper refused to disclose what they were doing
“Where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose. But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream,” Diddy said. “For the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re gonna go full. Buck full crazy.”
The video also features Diddy showing 15-year-old Bieber his Lamborghini, offering to give him the keys when he turns 16. Diddy also offered to give Bieber his mansion once he turned 18.
