A$AP Rocky, who was a co-chair of the 2025 Met Gala which took place on Monday May 5, opened up to reporters on the red carpet about the reveal that his partner, Rihanna, was pregnant with their third baby.

Just a few hours before the 2025 Met Gala last night, Rihanna broke the news to the world that she was pregnant with baby no.3.
It was revealed when her photographer Miles Diggs posted a photo of her in the rain with the baby bump on full display.
Reporters asked A$AP about the news
On the Met Gala red carpet, Rihanna’s partner was asked by reporters about the news, and the 36-year-old rapper was ecstatic that they were finally announcing the pregnancy.
“It feels amazing, you know. It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up,” A$AP told the Associated Press.
He highlighted his happiness with people’s reactions
Speaking on people’s reactions to the news of he and Rihanna’s coming baby, A$AP pointed out how happy he was with the public’s support.
He said, “And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ‘cause we definitely happy, you know.”
The rapper felt blessed
A$AP went on, “Honestly, it’s a blessing nonetheless. Because you know how like some people in other situations at times can be envious of other people.”
He was happy to find people showed love
“But we’ve been seeing love for the most part. And we real receptive to that and appreciate that, you know what I mean?” A$AP continued.
The rapper was happy to find that people only showed his family love, ending his comments with, “That’s love. Love is love.”

The rapper was a co-chair at the 2025 Met Gala last night (May 5). This means he was part of the team curating things like the guest list and food menu.
According to Vogue, he wore a custom look from his creative agency, AWGE, pairing a wool coat with a white buttoned shirt, black wool pants and a black vest.
He had spoken about being a father
Ahead of the Met Gala, A$AP had opened up about fatherhood on an episode of The Run-Through with Vogue, where he said, “Being a father is my creative process now because I just embodied it as a whole.”
“I never really had a role model or just an iconic figure, … and I guess I’m that for people, and I didn’t purposely try to do that, but I take it as a badge of honor.”
The rapper is flattered that he’s an inspiration to many
A$AP went on, “I’m so flattered and, you know, just being me that it can inspire people to actually do something that is considered good being a present active father.”
He added, “I love that s—. For me, my dad was a proud dad. He taught me everything I know, especially how to be a gentleman and whatnot, so I was prepared to be a dad my whole life, man, you know?”
