Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd ended up winning this year’s Celebrity Big Brother. He’s been playing David Platt on the soap for a long time — 25 years, actually.
In the final, he beat out a few big names like drag performer Danny Beard, US star JoJo Siwa, and TV personality Chris Hughes.
The last episode also had comedian Donna Preston and singer Chesney Hawkes still in the game.
Jack P Shepherd ended up being everyone’s favorite
Turns out, Jack was a real favorite with the viewers. He’s 37 now and has been part of Corrie since he was 12, playing Gail’s son David since back in 2000.
People have been wondering if he’s planning to leave the soap, but he’s said he wants to stick around. Maybe even for another 25 years.
Mickey Rourke didn’t last long in the house
The show grabbed a lot of attention when Mickey Rourke showed up as one of the housemates. Big name, right? But things went downhill fast.
He got kicked out just a few weeks in for “inappropriate language” and “unacceptable behavior.” He was already warned after JoJo Siwa said he’d been “homophobic.”
Then things escalated during a clash with Chris Hughes, and that was it. He was gone.
JoJo Siwa shared something personal about herself
Chris and former Dance Moms star JoJo, 21, formed a close friendship on the show. She also made waves when she said being in the house had made her decide to identify as queer instead of lesbian.
“I’m switching letters!” she told Danny, joking that she was moving from the L to the Q in LGBTQ. “I’ve always told myself I’m a lesbian, and I think being here I’ve realised, ‘Oh, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer.’ And I think that’s really cool”.
The line-up had a little bit of everything

Loads of familiar faces came and went throughout the series. Some who got voted out included Trisha Goddard, athlete Daley Thompson, and EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer.
There were others too, like MP Michael Fabricant, presenter Angellica Bell, and TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise. It was a pretty mixed bunch.
The show keeps doing well since its comeback

This was ITV’s second go at Celebrity Big Brother since bringing it back in 2023. The first episode this time around pulled in about 2.7 million viewers. Not bad at all.
