Sophie Turner is speaking her mind!
We shouldn’t be surprised that the actress behind the fierce Sansa Stark is just as bold when it comes to her opinions! The star just shared a video to her Instagram story that makes it very clear where she stands on people who refuse to wear a mask in public.
Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.
It’s not been a secret that there have been a lot of celebrities using their platform to spread awareness during the pandemic.

Many celebrities have encouraged mask-wearing and social distancing, from Mel Brooks to Jennifer Aniston , and it’s great to see!
Some celebrities have been taking their passion pretty far.

Like Tom Cruise, who had some audio leaked earlier this month depicting him going on a rant against those who weren’t following proper precautions on the set of Mission Impossible 7 .
Sophie Turner isn’t quite as fired up, but she’s still clearly on the side of science!
Sophie Turner is most well known for her portrayal of Sansa Stark on *Game Of Thrones*.
Sophie also portrayed Jean Grey in X-Men: Dark Phoenix and X-Men: Apocalypse , so it’s been pretty hard to avoid knowing who she is if you’ve watched television or gone to the movies in the past ten years!
She’s also had a big year — in July she gave birth to her first child with husband Joe Jonas!

While Sophie and Joe have both been very private about their child and Sophie’s pregnancy, Sophie just shared an important detail of the birth while criticizing people who choose not to wear masks during the current coronavirus pandemic.
Sophie shared a video to her Instagram story making it clear how she felt.

“If I can wear a mask while I give birth, you can wear a mask at Walmart,” Sophie says in the video before taking a drink. “And that’s the tea.”
Some people didn’t agree with Sophie’s message.

The people who have been vocally anti-mask have gone to some pretty big lengths to get out of wearing a mask, so it’s not likely that Sophie’s message would have much of an impact on them.
Others were happy to hear Sophie speak out.

Some people even suggested that they would start using a similar line, and I don’t blame them — it’s hilarious, sassy, and true, so it’s a hard line to beat!
It’s awesome that Sophie was using her platform this way.
There are a lot of celebrities who aren’t being as responsible with their platform, so it’s nice to know that Sophie is using hers wisely!
You can watch the video for yourself right here.
