Amber Heard may have lost in court against ex-husband Johnny Depp, but the Texas-born actress has won the race in terms of Google searches. With 5.6 million monthly searches this year, she’s topped the list of most-searched celebs in 2022.
Everyone Has Been Googling Her
Per CelebTattler, the Aquaman star topped the list of the search engine giant’s most searched-for famous faces – she even outperformed the likes of 42-year-old SKIMS mogul Kim Kardashian and pop sensation Justin Bieber. Amber, 36, has made headlines this year for battling it out in court with A-Lister ex Johnny. She’s also been in the news for continuing her motherhood journey.

Amber was sued by Depp after her headline-making Washington Post op-ed. The actress said that she was a victim of domestic violence. While she did not name any names, this was enough to prompt Pirates of the Caribbean star Depp to sue her for $50 million in a defamation suit.

Amber and Johnny first met back in 2009 on the set of movie The Rum Diaries , where they were costars. They married in 2015, but the marriage was short-lived. In 2016, Heard filed for divorce and alleged that her ex had abused her while under the influence of substances.
